This is the long out of print Classic Records audiophile reissue of the famous album titled The Royal Ballet - Gala Performances RCA - LDS 6065-45 .

It consists of 9 SINGLE SIDED 45 RPM RECORDS, PRESSED ON 200 GRAM Quiex SV-P Super Vinyl Profile

They are packaged in a beautiful black and gold heavy box, sealed with 200 Gram Sticker on the front of shrink wrapping.

The Royal Ballet has historically been the most highly sought after of the RCA Living Stereo releases. Recorded in Kingsway Hall by the legendary Kenneth Wilkinson, this title features selections from The Nutcracker Suite, Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty among others.

The performances are conducted by Ernest Ansermet directing the Royal Opera House Orchestra and the sonics are incomparable.

The result is a sound that is as close as you can get to the original master tapes

Mastered by Bernie Grundman himself using the first generation 3-track UK Decca/RCA Living Stereo master tapes.

Meticulously and loving pressed on Super Vinyl-Profile SV-P virgin vinyl.
This half-speed mastered 45rpm 9-LP deluxe box set achieved sound quality that virtually every leading audiophile critic ranked better by far than the Soria box .
Classic Records used the same Master Tape to make this record as RCA did , but Classic mastered it at Half-speed .

This process enables more of the frequency and spatial resolution of the musical signal to be transferred from tape to laquer, resulting in greater signal to noise ratio and wider dynamic range.

Then after meticulously and artfully executing each of the several critical steps in between, super virgin vinyl was used to produce these stunning records, achieving incomparably accurate transfer of the musical information from the stampers to the LP, and significantly reducing Basically eliminating surface noise.
On the other hand, even when they were new, many RCA shaded dogs suffered from high levels of surface noise, primarly because of poor or inconsistent vinyl.

Finally, only this Classic edition was made when the master tapes were still relatively free of age-related degradation and was pressed at the RTI Pressing plant.
