  • Best american band of the 70's *****

I'm a late blooming Big Star fan. Like most of the world, I missed this stuff back in the day. I also missed Bowie, T Rex and a few others I now revere. This Rhino box is way up there on the list of great Rhino reissues, right at the top\. I had the Fantasy released double CD of #1 Record, Radio City, which I loved till last night when I began playing the 4-disk set. Rhino--remastering A-D--I LOVE YOU! This is pristine recording and it literally shocked me. The greatest American band of the 70s and a magical listening experience. The live set from 73, opening for Archie Bell and the Drells at a Memphis club venue, OH MY GOD what an inspiration. I've been fronting a rock trio (my first ever, and I'm 62) It is SO challenging to fill out the band sound with just one ...

  • This is a great cd.

The best band almost no one ever heard of. Worth every penny and then some, you can see why they are a favorite of many musicians and critics.
