Look no further for a "near" complete best of collection of Devo!
This anthology features all of the singles from the band's first release (the 7" Jocko Homo/Mongoloid) all the way up to bands work in the 90s. It also features most of the compilation and soundtrack work they did. Casual fans will enjoy for it all the Devo classics in one set, and there is enough rarities here for the hardcore fan or collector. Also, be sure not to miss their latest (and instant classic) album Something For Everybody.This anthology features all of the singles from the band's first release (the 7" Jocko Homo/Mongoloid) all the way up to bands work in the 90s. It also features most of the compilation and soundtrack work they did. This is THE Devo cd to get
If you are going to get a Devo cd this is the one to get. Remastered sound is excellent. The downside you ask? The second cd ( with the exception of the first 4 or 5 songs is for the truly devoted fans only. The sound on this set blows away the other greatest hits collections and that alone makes it worth picking up. While their version of Head Like A Hole didn't do much for me there were other surprises on here that more than make up for that attempt. Mandatory for any level of Devo fan and highly recommended for those that are curious.If you are going to get a Devo cd this is the one to get. Remastered sound is excellent. The downside you ask?
