Item Description

Rare Led Zeppelin connoisseur collector s piece.
Original historic U.S.
pressing.
The Vinyl has the plain, white Atlantic Test Pressing label with typewritten track listings.
The original letter of introduction on Atlantic Records letterhead, dated 1968, is included.
The vinyl and the letter have been kept in a dark, sealed airtight location.
Please note that the partial letter photo is blurred here intentionally to prevent duplication , but it is in excellent shape.
The original white blank cardboard cover is in decent shape but for the tear on the back side bottom right corner.
Any yellowing seen in the photos is from the light source.
All labels are white, wear-free and very clean.
Vinyl is in excellent condition.
I can provide more detailed photos for serious bidders.
Click and zoom in on the photos for much more detail ...
Notice the hand corrected typo on Side II, song 5.
How Many More Times changed from 3:30 to 8:30 .
It is a thick, heavy Vinyl pressing and is not a reissue or counterfeit.
It is one of the original historic Test Pressings of Led Zeppelin I.
An album that changed the face of rock music.
Note of interest: The typewriter font used to type the song titles is different between Side I and Side II.
The darker photo of Side 1 was enhanced to show the Test Pressing graphic and other script that is visible on the original pressing plant label that is underneath the Atlantic Records label.
Also it looks like there was an F that was corrected in the first letter of the title, Good Times, Bad Times ..
it was almost Food Times, Bad Times...
: The Matrix stamps in the trail-off are Side I: ST-A-681461-A Side II: ST-A-681462-A This auction is for SERIOUS Collectors only so please bid accordingly.
Thanks for looking good luck On Apr-13-14 at 01:08:53 PDT, seller added the following information: The letter from Atlantic is the icing on the cake here - there are test pressings out there but not as many with the letter still intact.
It s the real eye opener and jaw dropper and makes it totally worth the complete package
