Fraction was a short-lived Los Angeles garage band. In the summer of 1970, the band entered a studio and cut their only album, Moon Blood. Only 200 copies of this little psychedelic masterpiece were ever pressed, making it over the years a mega-rarity- Allmusic.com
Jacket Condition: Near Mint. Jacket is amazingly still in the original factory shrink. Red cellophane window perfectly intact underneath the shrink wrap. Factory insert still in great shape, see pics. Top right and bottom right corners show the lightest bit of shelf wear. Again, please see pictures closely.
Record: Near Mint Visual grading: only the lightest paper sleeve marks can be seen when inspecting under bright light. Absolutely no marks or scratches that would affect sound quality. For a private pressing it is in incredible shape.
Play Grade: Near Mint minus. I feel this is a very conservative grade. Both sides play beautifully, music is clear, loud, and dynamic. Only in the very quietest of passages can you detect extremely light surface noise that absolutely does not detract from the music. Absolutely no distracting loud ticks, pops, or repeating clicks.
Shipping will be priority mail insured with signature required. Record will be shipped outside the jacket in a audiophile protective sleeve. It will be packed securely and safely.
Please feel free to ask us any additional questions. International bidders must contact me for a shipping quote prior to purchase.
I have been buying and selling records for 25 years and this is the first real copy I have ever seen of this ultra-rarity. This may be the cleanest copy to ever come up for sale. If you happen to be local, the record can be viewed at my store, Record High in Phoenix (please call ahead to verify that I will be there).
