Outstanding psychedelic jazz / acid pop / bossa lounge by the maestro. His debut Sermi Library with unknown session players, recorded in Rome 68. Our copy seems to be a slightly later promotional issue regardless that a matrix date of 22-2-68 is etched into the inner deadwax of the vinyl. Desirable item as it features several outstanding themes including the killer funky jazz of INTROVERSO actually an alternative version of Jazz A Calcutta from the Sermi Intermezzi Jazz 04 A Library - how come nobody has ever mentioned this before? / the jazz waltz and funky break-beats of DIAGRAMMI with hard modal piano and aggressive rhythm section and its cembalo cum electric harpsichord reprise version PSICHEDELICO with twisted bossa drum skills. There is yet another jazz variation called HAMMURABI too. Other superb themes like the psychedelic beat of MECCANICO with primitive garage-esque guitar / GITA A MILANO / LUNGO LA STRADA / BEAT FOR LOVE and DOMENICA IN RIVIERA sound strikingly similar to I Marc 4. This obsessive jazz and groovy pop grail is also spiked with a clutch of superb scat bossa themes too.
