Item Description

HELLO MUSIC LOVERS!
This album needs no introductions...
Here for sale, the rarest Vertigo record ever - absolutely impossible to find. Even though is not the most wanted and expensive English pressing (sold for up to 3800£), this almost unknown Italian version is even rarer than the British one.
There were less than 100 copies of the English release pressed. Although the exact number of copies of the Italian pressing is unknown, this version was definitely produced in a even smaller quantity than the English pressing.
The author of the "vertigo swirl label" book did not know about it's existence -  this version wasn't even listed on Discogs,  I had to create the release by myself.
I also looked at the all-time sales history and I could only find it sold twice (one for over $500 in 2007 and one for about 500£ in 2012).
All of this gives you an idea of the rarity of this awesome album.
The gimmix cover is exactly the same as the English version, with the same beautiful artwork.
Released in a three-part, fold-out, die-cut cover on a ''swirl'' vertigo label.
LABEL 6360 048 L  , pressed in Italy in 1972 , rights society S.I.A.E.
Matrix number (stamped) : 6380048 2 1 520 200172
Cover condition vg+ : very nice cover with perfectly intact artwork (just a little fold on the right side of the heart) and normal light wear due to the age. Still very, very nice.
Record condition vg : there are no scratches or deep marks on the record, just hairlines and scuffs (probably due to removal from inner sleeve). It plays fine with slight background noise in the most quiet parts. Definitely no skips/jumps or sticks.
This is a conservative grading.
I have tried to show all the details with the pictures.
This is an incredible chance to get one of the rarest record ever made.
I would never have sold it but unfortunately I need the money so I am selling my rarest record.
