Please, allow me to introduce myself : I ve not only been a dedicated follower of collecting but a co-owner of second hand record shops, an AR executive at record companies, a chief editor in music magazines, a radio dj, etc for the last 35 years in Greece So, a hell of a lot of rare and collectable items such as out-of-print original records, first pressings, special editions, promo samples, white labels, test pressings, magazines, posters, catalogues, memorabilia and other fetish objects of desire in 5, 7, 10 and 12 inches not only from Greece but from all over the world are going to be exhibited through these pages Turn on and stay tuned
So, up for auction is a very rare original UK very 1st vinyl pressing of the Ernie Graham s self-titled debut and only solo album that Liberty released in 1971 on an original 1st press black label in STEREO - there were NO Mono copies - with Cat No LBS 83485, Matrix Nos LBS 83485 A - 1 U G 1 A side and LBS 83485 B - 1 U R 1 B side, both machine - stamped pressed on thick quality vinyl and into a 1st press Upton Printing Group textured sleeve

Already an original member of the psychedelic-flavored band Eire Apparent, singer/guitarist Ernie Graham signed with UA/Liberty as a solo artist, just at the time that the British arm of the label had begun building a new, bold roster of acts representing a new generation of performers. It was all a happy coincidence that brought Graham s exceptional singing and songs into the studio backed by no less an act than Brinsley Schwarz, and the result was one of the finest albums of the entire decade - a true singer / song writer acid folk masterpiece with a laid back hippiness and references to Bob Dylan and the Band so authentically American that fools lots of listeners about its origins and source

This copy for sale is the original United Kingdom 1st press issue, with 1st press labels - with Blues To Snowy misprinted on B side label and wrongly spelled as Blues To Snowey - and 1st press identification numbers. This, sold in absolutely tiny amounts and almost immediately deleted, difficult to find in any condition and RARELY SEEN on eBay wonderful record has become highly - prized by collectors of quality vinyl and lovers of fine music. So, do not miss

PS As this is a really wonderful and valuable item fetching sums in the region of 400.00 plus for a MINT copy, I consider the starting price of 69.99 as a reasonable one - sorry for the quality, but when you get something so rare, you take what you can get
