Item Description

Hi, and welcome to psych_out! auctions!!!

I've collected50's, 60's, and early 70's records of almost every genre -Psych, Prog, Psychedelic Funk, Soul,Rhythm 'n' Blues, Pop, Folk, Garage, Acid, Freakbeat, Rock, Jazz e.t.c and everything in between for all my life!!!Obviously, 90% of the LP's I've ever gotten hold of are completelytrashed from the hard living ways and the rock 'n' roll, drug and booze fuelled debauchery of all the wild parties of the times, but the golden 10%? Reluctantly, I've decided tooffer themto all of you serious record collectors out there!!! I'm currently trying to set up a record label so unfortunately personal sacrifices have to be made when it comes to my collection, resulting in GREAT benefits for all you shrewd bidders and serious connosieurs of TRUE solid goldmusic history out there!!!Make no mistake, I'lltry my best to consistently offer some of theVERY BESTrecords available on ebay, many which have taken me YEARS to find!!!

I aim to put a weekly batch up (time permitting) every Wednesday, all timed to end 10 days later on Saturday night. I'll only everofferTHE BEST, MOST AMAZING,MOST IMPORTANT,VERYRAREST UK 1ST PRESSORIGINAL RELEASE RECORDSI've got!!! I won't insult you with later 2ndpressings unless they are of exceptional quality and rarity. I'm sure you love good music as much as me, especially when it's a 1st Press LP,direct from the master tape, as the musicians intended it to be heard (none of this "digitally remastered",weak reissued, remixedrubbish from hired hands with one eye on the mixing desk and the other on the clock! If these sessionmen really knew how genius should sound, surely they would've been geniuses themselves?! There will only ever be one Hendrix, and that's just a tiny example).

I try tobe one of the best sellers on ebay and would like to thank all of you potential bidders for your support and taste in music!!! I strictly grade all LP's I list, visually and sonicallyusing the UK RRPG standardsas customer satisfaction is highly important to me, and I'll always do my very best not to let you down. Be sure to add me to your favourite sellers list and check my auctions frequently as i'll be listing some gems that you just WON'T want to miss out on!!!

I think that's everything, so let the auction commence!!!

Title:The Who - Sell Out
Label &year:OriginalBlack Track613 002LP , UKMono 1967 IMPOSSIBLY RARE DAY OF RELEASE TEXTURED 1st Press!!!
Matrix's : Side A: 612002 A v 2, Side B : 612002B v 1 (EARLIEST EVER!!!)
A true, true classic album, and one of, if not THE first sort of"concept" albums to have ever been written with most tracks linked with cool parody 60's radio adverts!!! To find a UK Mono 1st Press on it's own is INCREDIBLY difficult in itself (and the mono is definitely THE mix to have), but if that wasn’t enough, this also includesthe BRILLIANT quality poster from the official 2015 re-issue, pressed directly from the original artwork!!! You may wonder why it's included? Well, this is a fantastic chance to own this ULTRA RARE 1st Press Mono classic (the cover, inner, record are all 100% original from 1967) with the INCREDIBLE extra poster at a much cheaper price than if the poster was a 1967 1st Press original!!! The quality of the poster is AWESOME - an untrained eye could not tell the difference, and this one is totally MINT unused!!! It really does complete this outstanding LP in every way!!! The poster included here is genuine & official, and this really is an incredibly rare chance to own a FANTASTIC mono 1st Press of this classic with this INCREDIBLE poster at a cheaper price than the huge fortune required to own an Osiris 1967 original!!!
One of the VERY RAREST 60's collectors items of all time!!! A classic album from one of the best bands to ever walk the earth!!! A truly FANTASTIC and historic ModLP that's just so hard to find as a true day of release mono!!!Do not miss out on this opportunity to own a true one-off piece of rock history, bid now!!!

If you like good music, bid now!!!

The LP :

Labels :
ClassicUK 1st Press black Track labels!!! Both sides are FANTASTIC with NO real signs of age, NO stickers, and NO tears whatsoever!!! Just has a small amount of ultra light spindle marks which suggests that this hasn't had too much play over the years at all!!! AWESOME for a 50 year old record!!! Both must grade overall at least as Very Good+!!!
Record:Visual -
Spectacular Original 1967 UK 1st Press Vinyl!!! Nice bright, clean and shiny as if it was just pressed!!! Fantastic jet black mirror like surfaces, it looks GREAT with NO really nasty scratches, groovewear, or nasty deep scuffs whatsoever!!! The only blemishes are just some light wispy sleeve traces, a few mild hairlines and age marks, and just a small amount of cosmetic non-sounding and unfeelable scuffs (only visible in direct angled light) mostly caused from where it has sat or been removed from it's cover over the years!!! Of course, none of these ULTRA light blemishes really interfere with play AT ALL thanks to the deeply pressed quality!!! BRILLIANT for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall as Very Good+!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)

Record : Audio-
Thankfully, it plays BRILLIANTLY with fantastic mono blast and clarity!!! It really sounds incredible with NO hisses, hops, distortion, sticks OR skips!!! Only like pretty much ALL records has just a mere touch of the lightest crackle here and there, only a small amount of light ticks on the very rarest occasion, and only a hint of low level ultra light "bluesman's fag" atmospheric static in few and far between places such as on some of the quieter sections like the run in grooves and between some tracks e.t.c, but it TRULY doesn't overshadow the music AT ALL!!! I'd even argue it gives it added soul!!! And that's truly about it!!! The vast, vast majority of the music is ultra clear and sounds ABSOLUTELY AWESOME with that bass, depth, warmth and clarity you can only get from UK 1st Press vinyl!!! An outstanding listen! Absolutely ESSENTIAL!! ASTONISHING for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall audibly as Excellent+!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)
OriginalUK1st Press laminatedE.J Day "patents pending" sleeve complete with original “117” pre release inner, and the poster is totally PERFECT and has clearly never been used with zero signs of handling- NO pin holes, tack marks, creasing, stains, dulling, writing OR graffiti in sight!!! OUTSTANDING!!! IMPOSSIBLE to find this sleeve in anything approaching a good condition - most are spent, torn and worn due to age and the lifestyles of the buyers of this particular LP!!! This one is NOT, and looks FANTASTIC, especially considering the nature of these fragile sleeves!!! NO really bad marks AT ALL, NO seam splits, and still ULTRA strong and solid after all these years!!! Only has a few mild signs of ageing such as a some light creasing and a touch of a record imprint, only some very minimal dulling to the white colour (barely any) and the lightest near invisible general surface glazing from where it has sat between sleeves over the years, a touch of denting to the four corners which basically EVERY vintage sleeve has, and POSSIBLY (to be safe!!!) one or two other minor signs of age here and there, though nothing that really stands out to note at all!!! And that's truly about it!!! I tend to bring it down by listing every negative I can possibly find, but this remains a BRILLIANT sleeve, and it's a TRUE rarity to find one as awesome as this - most have been virtually destroyed or are just about being held together, but not this one!!! It remains ultra strong, solid, unsplit and unspoilt, and even the spine remains ultra strong, solid, unsplit and 100% readable!!! Must grade overall as Very Good+!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)
Summary :A truly AWESOME exampleof this ULTRA RAREclassic true 1st Press LP complete with poster!!! Hard to find in ANY condition, but simply IMPOSSIBLY RARE TO FIND ONE AS FANTASTIC AS THIS!!! YOU MAYNEVERGET THE CHANCE AGAIN, so don't miss out on this scarce opportunity to own a true piece of 60's/70's music history!!! Bid now!!!

I've realized that most countries have their own unique grading system. I base mine strictly on the UK RRPG grading system (occasionally with a + or a - to indicate the higher and lower ends of the grade, though I only use these if i'm having real trouble deciding!), so please check their chart for further clarity if you are unsure of what my grades mean. As a general rule, a mint record will be 100% perfect, an excellent record will be in fantastic clean condition with the occasional mild mark and minor use fromthe years, and a very good record will have noticeable, yet light visual markings and obvious signs of age and use, but will still remain clean with relatively light wearand willplay fantastically wellwith plenty of life remaining in it. I very rarely offer records below the very good region unless they are of an EXCEPTIONAL rarity and playing quality...I hope this helps!
