About This Record. Please see my detailed comments about the Cover/Record/Labels below. This is an original rarely seen MONO PROMO Copy of The Doors LP from 1967 entitled "Strange Days" complete with the original lyric artworkinner sleeve, and featuring a promo sticker on the back cover, and "promotional not for sale" on the otherwise stock tan Elektra labels. Extraordnarily rare andthis is also anice keeper copy. There was never a white label promo version of this LP (only WLP bootlegs pressed in Switzerland or somewhere high up there). This is the official stock label version with promo designated "Promotional Copy Not For Sale" labels. I have only seen about two (2) of these Promo LPs in my 40 years of collecting, how about you? And . . . . this is a NICE keepercopy. Love's "Forever Changes" was also released in this format . . . and never in a white label promo version.
PLEASE CHECK my Feedback which will show you my grading, Cover/Vinyl, of other LPs I have recently sold and what the lucky people who are bought them think of them and our experience. I offer a full refund on all my records, including shipping both ways in case for some wildly strange reason you might be unhappy with this purchase.
Cover Condition: Excellent (EX) cover with light corner rubs and shelf wear. Light wear on the red promo sticker on the back cover.
Please see my photos! I did not take them for fun and frolic.
Vinyl Condition: Strong Excellent (EX) better. Nice Keeper copy. Light paper marks and a few stray light scuffs; just a few pops; very quiet pressing. No need to upgrade.
Labels. ExcellentPlus(EX+) Promo DJ designated labels on stock tan labels. Again, no white label promo versions of this LP were ever made. Some lightest of spindle wear around the center hole. Please see photos of the labels.
Inserts: Comes with original black and white two-sidedinner sleeveand,no worries, cleaned in a new rice-paper type sleeve after professional cleaning (see below).
Packaging. I place the vinyl in a new sleeve after cleaning it on my KL Audio Ultrasonic Cleaning Machine from the cover, and place the cover and the separately packed vinyl in at least one if not two plastic innersleeves that help protect against moisture damage during this cool records transition to your record collection. I use sturdy carboard containers with real corners and pack with at least two insert stiffeners, and I place neon stickers on the front and back of the package indicating “Do Not Bend” and/or “Fragile” or something like that to help facilitate a safe passage.
Shipping and Payment. PayPal only. I ship promptly worldwide; I combine shipping but the automatic eBay invoice does not have accurate shipping if you buy more than one LP, so if you are unsure email me and ask for an invoice. . . . I offer full refund on this record including shipping both ways, unless you live outside North America in which case I will refund you shipping one way unless I made a mistake which I sometimes do because I am only human.. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS: Please add sales tax!
