There is just a minimal amount of light static for a few seconds that is all and a handful of very quiet ticks.
It truly is a superb listen and it could hardly play any better.
The sonic quality is out of this world and I can confidently say it has hardly ever been on a turntable based on the audio and that there is no spindle wear on the labels.
