Pearl Jam : Vitalogy A-1 / B-2 1st Press Europe 1994This first pressing plays to a superb standard with no obvious interference.
Only two tracks on S2 have a minimal amount of light static for a few seconds and there are no clicks or pops.
The clarity of sound is stunning and the depth of the audio is just as impressive.
There are some hairlines but they can only be seen under a bright light and in my opinion the vinyl has hardly been played based on the audio and the zero spindle wear.
I cannot emphasise enough just how well it plays The cover has just one small area of wear on the top edge of the back cover but is otherwise in excellent order.

There are some faint hairlines and a handful of minor specks but there is nothing that impacts on the audio.
The labels are in perfect condition with no spindle wear at all.Play grading The intro on Last Exit plays with great clarity, I only heard one minor static tick, and as the volume increases the audio is superb Vedder s opening vocal is faultless and it continues to play with stunning power and depth and with no intrusion on the audio.
His voice is as strong as ever and this is easily a Mint start to the album.The high octane Spin The Black Circle plays with phenomenal power from the get go and doesn t let go From start to finish it could not play any better and again the depth and resonance of the audio is exceptional.
MintThe intro on Not For You is as new and the first vocal is just as impressive.
The second verse plays to perfection and it proceeds in the same way - the quieter instrumental / vocal section plays beautifully and the final vocal / instrumental plays so clearly and that includes the very quiet end section.
A couple of very quiet dust ticks that is all and Mint- is deserved...at the very least Tremor Christ plays with such clean, strong audio throughout and again there is no interference.
Every verse and chorus play with sublime precision and Mint is 100 deserved.
Nothingman plays beautifully with nothing to detract from the crystal clear audio.
There are a couple of mega quiet ticks after the first chorus but so so quiet The remainder is flawless and it grades as Mint- although that could be considered a little harsh The intro on Whipping is perfect and this standard is kept up as it progresses.
It plays with genuine power and if there is any inner groove distortion it is barely noticeable.
A Mint- end to the side.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The build up intro on Pry, to has only minimal static, the middle section is flawless, and the fade out section has barely any static.
Ex is about right.
Corduroy has a little static on the intro but this isn t intrusive and as the volume increases the sonic quality is spectacular The opening vocal is just as good and as per S1 you really notice the depth and resonance of the audio.
The quiet mid section has no background at all and the instrumental end section is more or less perfect apart from one static click at the end of the fade out.
Let s say Near Mint Bugs plays very clearly for a relatively sparse track.
No obvious interference at all, there are just 3/4 minor ticks and a handful of barely audible dust ticks.
Ex Satan s Bed plays with impeccable precision - from the intro and then through every verse and chorus the playback could not be enhanced in any way.
Even the fade out plays perfectly.
A STUNNING Mint version in every sense.The intro on Better Man plays so clearly with no intrusion and the opening vocal has only one very minor tick.
This quiet opening section plays with exceptional clarity and then the more up-tempo passage has literally no interference.
A superb track and Mint- is a fair assessment of the audio.
Aye Davanita plays with genuine quality from start to finish and the depth here - wow The audio is so deep and the clarity as new so it has to grade as MintThe intro on Immortality plays beautifully and continues in the same precise way.
Once again the vinyl is showing just how well it has been preserved as the clarity, depth and warmth of the audio is comparable to an un-played record.
The mid instrumental is as new and the final section is of the same high end standard.
A couple of light ticks on the fade out so I will grade as Mint- accordingly but hey what a track.
Stunning sound here.The instrumental Hey Foxymophandlemama, That s Me / Stupid Mop ends this great album with superb audio throughout.
You could say it s all a bit Revolution 9ish but there s no denying the quality of the audio.
A Mint- conclusion for sure with only a handful of mega quiet dust ticks near the beginning which do not need a mention In summary this first pressing is STUNNING The clarity, depth and resonance of the audio is about as high end as you will find and it is clear it has hardly been played.
You could say there is no actual interference and I have only graded two tracks on S2 as Ex because of a minimal amount of static and I do mean very minimal It may be a 90s vinyl but the sonic quality here is fantastic I am sure the winning bidder will be very impressed also.
One stunning album The Gatefold, Lyric Booklet Inner SleeveThe cover is in very good condition with only one obvious area of wear.
On the top edge of the back cover there is a 4cm rub where the top surface has worn but it hasn t resulted in an actual split which is good.
Aside from that the top edges have very little wear and the bottom edges have only light rubbing.
The wide spine is in great shape and the corners are also very clean, just minimal wear bottom right, and the opening edges are in superb condition.
The front cover is very clean and as can be seen there is a Pearl Jam sticker near the bottom edge.
The back cover has only minimal wear on the corners and no other marking and has the barcode sticker top right.
The inside of the gatefold is immaculate but obviously you can see the wear at the top of the right panel.
Not a perfect cover but certainly not in bad condition.The 8 page lyric booklet is pristine and has no marking.
