AC/DC-Live From The Atlantic Studios 1978 US promotional LP LAAS 001: Just weeks before the release of their Powerage album, AC/DC recorded this set for on air broadcast at the Atlantic Studios in New York City, resulting in this quite rare and collectible promo only LP. Eight songs are featured from their US High Voltage and Let There Be Rock albums, plus between song banter from Bon Scott. Audio grading reveals a very clean and quiet listening experience unlike many copies of this album, this one hasn t seen a turntable very often. However it does have some cosmetic issues. The front jacket, while otherwise free of wear, has the radio station call letters WBAU written in marker across the top, with two letters each on either side of the AC/DC logo. On the rear of the jacket there is a WBAU FM stamp in blue ink. Finally, on the labels themselves, there is both a hand drawn logo taped to the A side, and some pen marks. On the B-side there is another hand written sticker with track titles and durations taped on to the label. The original Atlantic Records promotional postcard is also included. Truly a rare and interesting and mandatory piece for the AC/DC collector. VG /VG
