Original edition without a price code. In the early 70s (1971-72), most major French labels stopped producing dedicated promo copies of LPs as well as 45s, sending issue copies without price codes to radio/TV stations, press and music agencies instead. After 1972, all the copies sent were regular issues with their price codes. In theory this could be a promo. In any case, this edition was quickly withdrawn, making it is the rarest French Bowie album, maybe the rarest of all the Hunky Dory releases!
