Greatest Hits III Limited Edition No 024

This unplayed limited edition first pressing is in superb condition and has the mega low number of 024. It is so rare to find one below 1000 let alone below 50 It is the lowest I have ever seen and all the more rare when you consider the first 100 or so would often go to record company employees.

Now highly collectable Greatest Hits III was released in 1999 as a double vinyl LP. This particular edition has never been played prior to my play grading.

As this is the limited edition it includes the pvc sleeve and has the Queen name and crest embossed on the front with Brian, Roger and John included also.

Visual grading

They are both visually stunning and is pristine condition. The previous owner confirmed they had never been played and I have no reason to doubt him and indeed they have that immaculate glossy sheen of brand new vinyl. There is obviously no spindle wear, hairlines or scratches at all and quite simply they look as new.

Play grading

I played a number of tracks from both vinyls and I can confirm they play with stunning depth and clarity. There is no static let alone any crackle or worse. The quality is immaculate and both Barcelona and Too Much Love Will Kill You on S1 are superb examples of this. There is no interference of any kind and this applies to all tracks on all four sides, they play as new which is incredibly rare to find today. The louder tracks have no distortion and the quieter tracks play with a clarity and definition that is second to none. Again No-One But You and These Are The Days If Our Lives on S4 play with stunning precision. Audio does not get better than this There is also complete silence between every track. I very rarely grade as Mint on an unsealed LP but the quality of the audio here deserves that accolade.

Cover

The limited edition cover is in Mint- condition, such a rarity for this LP. There are a couple of very minor, barely noticeable creases around the edges and is very nearly as new such is the beautiful quality and is without doubt one of the best I have ever seen. As can be seen the mega low limited edition number of 00024 is printed on the reverse side. Just to repeat I have never every seen one with a number as low as this

PVC plastic sleeve

This is in perfect condition. So often they have splits but not this one Never seen better.

Picture sleeves

They are both in near immaculate condition with no splits or tears at all. Rarely have I seen better.

Labels

They are in sublime condition with no spindle wear or writing/marking anywhere.
