Item Description

About This Record. Please see my detailed comments about the Cover/Record/Labels below. This is an original rarely seen killer USA psych LP released in 1967 by The Baroques on Chess Records LPS-1516 in original STEREO format most copies are mono being that Stereo was new in 1967. This is a not widely known killer psych LP that would have gone on to much more fame had it not been released on Chess Records, who promoted their Blues and RnB groups more than psychedelic music. I highly recommend this LP.

PLEASE

CHECK my Feedback which will show you my grading, Cover/Vinyl, of other LPs I have recently sold and what the lucky people who are bought them think of them and our experience.

I offer a full refund on all my records, including shipping both ways in case for some wildly strange reason you might be unhappy with this purchase.

Cover Condition: Excellent Minus EX- cover. Keeper copy with two 2 drill holes near the middle of the cover which also made two 2 drill holes in the labels . Minor corner rounding, and no seam splits or spine splits, although there is a one inch weak area in the middle of the bottom seam which is about to split.

Please see my photos I did not take them for fun and frolic.

Vinyl Condition: Strong Excellent Minus EX- better. The vinyl plays EX but I downgrade to EX-because there is a scratch that can be felt on the very last short song on Side 2 that makes some concentric ticks and background noise. Otherwise, the vinyl plays EX except for the first few seconds at the beginning of each side where you can hear some background noise light between tracks .

Labels. Excellent EX labels. There are two 2 drill holes through the labels like the cover . The Side Two label has some writing, and there is just some light spindle wear around the center hole. Please see photos of all labels.

Inserts: Comes with original factory Chess/Cadet paper innersleeve featuring photos of other contemporary Cadet/Chess artists and their LPs from 1967, but no worries, this comes cleaned in a new rice-paper type sleeve after professional cleaning see below .

Packaging. I place the vinyl in a new sleeve after cleaning it on my KL Audio Ultrasonic Cleaning Machine from the cover, and place the cover and the separately packed vinyl in at least one if not two plastic innersleeves that help protect against moisture damage during this cool records transition to your record collection. I use sturdy carboard containers with real corners and pack with at least two insert stiffeners, and I place neon stickers on the front and back of the package indicating Do Not Bend and/or Fragile or something like that to help facilitate a safe passage.

Shipping and Payment. PayPal only. I ship promptly worldwide I combine shipping but the automatic eBay invoice does not have accurate shipping if you buy more than one LP, so if you are unsure email me and ask for an invoice. . . . I offer full refund on this record including shipping both ways, unless you live outside North America in which case I will refund you shipping one way unless I made a mistake which I sometimes do because I am only human..
