ELUSIVE PROGMONSTER STUNNING SONGCRAFT AN INSPIRATION TO MANY SUBSEQUENT PROG TOP ACTS
AN EXTREMELY HARD FIND A few hundred rumoured to be around 500 were ever pressed of this fantastic prog/psych album. It is hard to understand why this never sold in larger numbers.
In all my years this is only the second time I have come across this PROG MONSTER of which only 500 are rumoured to be about. Rare ... anyone??
Great sound quality, I have played this through in its entirety and it was a great joy NO skips or jumps. A couple of low level clicks here and there but not intrusive at all, this is really a stunning heavy glossy jet black vinyl . Inspected under an intense lightsource and angled.
Vinyl: VG /EX. A sensational find I have played this in FULL twice over gt The replay is ASTOUNDING I first played for a general listen and a second time for a more detailed observation. There are NO jumps NO skips NO sticks. No bad marks or hairlines, just paper retraction traces visible under a strong light. There is just one very shallow scuff on the first track side 2, which actually does not impact on the audio I am very glad to be able to report that this is a fine slab of vinyl without any problems at all and as such worthy of inclusion of any great prog collection.
Gatefold Sleeve: VG . NO creases. Wonderfully textured gatefold sleeve. The inside gatefold is really nice. Beautiful flat sleeve . These matt Vertigo sleeves are prone to extensive wear. This one has an amount of edge wear from storage. The colours are still really rich. The spine is partially readable. There are no splits or tears. There is a colour fill down the left front bottom. I think it will be a very difficult task to find this album at all any time soon It is extremely hard to find this album at all. The pictures shown are part of the description.
This is a unique investment opportunity Nowadays any Vertigo Swirl is very collectable. There are, however, a select few, not more than a dozen or so that will raise the pulses of collectors around the world. This is one of them This album is impossible to find esp. in this sublime condition One of half a dozen of hardest to find Swirls, probably with Ben , Catapilla and Tudor Lodge .
This is a great and seriously collectable super album
