Item Description
I am a serious Led Zeppelin fan and I ve been collecting their very best sounding LP s that I can for all their different albums for years.
However it s time for me to sell my Led Zep vinyl so I ll be auctioning off my collection which includes Led Zep I, III, Houses of the Holy, Physical Graffiti, and this album, Led Zep II that is a Robert Ludwig mastered copy.
I have had four copies of this pressing and this is the one that I kept for myself as my best and last copy.
I am rating the vinyl as Near Mint visually for both sides, also the audio is NM on both sides as well, because I don t sell vinyl without listening to it first, because I believe the sound quality is more important than the visual quality.
This is the Robert Ludwig copy you will really want.
There are no scratches, scuffs, or pressing defects visually on either side.
The sound is amazing, but what stands out about this particular copy is that it is amazingly clean vinyl for a record this old, a very low noise floor throughout the music, the lead-in grooves, even the dead wax grooves between the songs The background noise is so low, I can hardly hear any noise on my audio rig, which consists of a VPI Classic II turntable with a Soundsmith Paua II cartridge.
You get to enjoy this great rock music without a bunch of audio issues intruding into your listening experience This is a Presswell pressing, with the labels showing ST-A-691671 PR for side 1 and ST-A-691672 PR for side 2.
Side 1 dead wax stamper is ST-A-691671-A, Side 2 shows ST-A-691672-A, it doesn t get any earlier than that, this is a true first pressing RL copy A tiny RL is etched on side 1, and a tiny RL and SS is etched on the second side.
The sound quality, as you would expect, is in one word Massive .
There are three letters in black marker THE written on the side 1 label, other than that the labels are clean as a whistle.
I will only ship to the U.S.
No reserve just a very reasonable starting bid and buy it now price.
