Has the grey strip across the bottom of the front as you d expect.Laminate has some light creasing in places, including off the spine.
NO Tears, No Writing, No Ringwear.Bottom corners have each a small crease and some corner wear Spine is clearly readable if a little rounded/dented in places.Front has hardly faded at all with age, still nice and bright white except little slight yellowing very near the spine...and I mean a little.Rear is the more sepia colour photo of the band you d associate with the first press - later pressings get more and more orange Top and Bottom spines have virtually no wear which is almost unheard of.
Inner Sleeve is a plain white Poly Lined Plastic Bags can be dangerous type typical of Atlantic at the time - split to the middle of one side If it matters - I ll pop another plain sleeve in just for travelling in the mail.
The Record I ve test played this all the way through using decent stereo gear - it grades as follows: Side 1: - A Solid VG , plays beautifully with no nasty big pops or jumps throughout but further detail below Vinyl has some light surface marks but has retained its sheen nicely Tiny amount of crackle on intro, quite quietGood Times Bad Times - light crackle which can only be heard in the quieter partsBabe I m Gonna Leave You ...
This has some light crackle and some clicks in the middle section You Shook Me - again light crackle and minimal light clicks which lessen as the track goes on - some random light clicksDazed and Confused, minimal interference, very very light crackle, even in the quieter parts difficult to spot The Audio is absolutely stunning NOTE: Side 1 label has no writing though has had a sticker removed which has caused a couple of very small nicks in the label as pictured.
some sticker residue still on the surface, will probably come off if you so do wish, very slight ripple where sticker has been - a little spindle wear when turned to the light All writing etc clearly visible :- 1969 Under Licence from Atlantic Recording Corpn.
U.S.A Made In Gt Britain Song credits are :1,2,4, Superhype Music3, Jewel Music Side 2:- VG Again some light surface marks which cause a little background noise / crackle but nothing serious at all - more detail below: Some crackle on the organ intro to Your Time is gonna come, much lessened once the song kicks in reduces as song goes onBlack Mountain Side has only minimal background crackle in some placesCommunication Breakdown - again minimal crackleI cant quit you babe....slight crackle, a couple of light clicks noticed in quieter parts but quite hard to noticeHow Many More Times - slight crackle noticeable in the background of the quiet violin bow section only Again - The audio is about as clear and loud as you re going to get.

I use the Record Collector Grading Criteria which is as follows: Mint:The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent:The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
Very Good:The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good:The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
