No is 588 171 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Red/Maroon Atlantic labels see picture and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing there were NO Monos The record labels are in SUPERB condition see pictures with NO wear, only 1 almost INVISIBLE residue trace this looks removeable and is almost IMPOSSIBLE to notice - see pictures , NO writing and only a few VERY light spindle marks The vinyl is in GREAT condition - and is still bright shiny and plays WELL Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable.
This one is NOT and has NO nasty deep feelable scratches, NO nasty concentric marks, only a few light hairlines, only 3 or 4 light scufflines NON sounding , only 2 or 3 TINY surface marks, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL JUST PRESSED LOOK It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual It plays with NO skips, only a few VERY light clicks, NO jumps, NO sticks, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some slight background sound on the run on grooves gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and barely ANY distortion AT ALL virtually NONE The record must MEGA STRICTLY grade Good PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed if not better - and is still a VERY bright shiny record indeed Most people I certain would grade it higher still - but I prefer to be MEGA STRICT to avoid any disappointment Essentially it is still a VERY decent record indeed - that plays WELL I know - because I just played it end to end just now Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to Brillant The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition The ORIGINAL 1st Press Turquoise Lettered FULLY Laminated Cover is still a very VERY solid example indeed, and although it is not MINT, it has NO splits ALL edges are 100 solid , NO rips, NO tears, is 100 structurally sound, and is still a VERY presentable example indeed The cover has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear apart from a few TINY creases , NO nasty sticker residue marks, NO yellowing, a small area of laminate loss with a clear residue trace here too in the top right corner, some general uneveness to the cover see pictures , only a MEGA thin line of laminate lifting along the spinal edge, VERY shiny laminate, some rippling to the opening edges, only slight corner wear with some tipping in to the lower corner tips , some faint stain traces below the Zeppelin , NO annotations, and NO writing There is also NO nasty brown creases on this cover AT ALL most do The opening edge is still VERY nice and straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL The laminated back of the cover like the front has NO grubbyness, a small stain trace to the top right and a tiny trace on the upper spine , only 1 small indentation mark to the left of John Bonham, and NO writing - though there is some slight discolouration along the lower opening edge.
So although this cover isnt MINT - it is still VERY solid and useable, and so very VERY hard to find now Even so - I will grade very VERY strictly indeed to avoid ANY disappointment or returns , and grade the cover Fair PROPERLY and STRICTLY graded if not better - even though this cover is very VERY solid indeed, and has NO structural defects AT ALL And to my mind especially the ALL important Turquoise Cover front it is still a VERY decent example and certainly VERY worthy of consideration WITH THIS LP NOW REGULARLY SELLING FOR OVER 2000 NOW AND THE RECORD PRICE BEING 3600 , THIS IS SURELY AN EXTREMELY RARE CHANCE FOR SOMEONE TO OWN THIS INCREDIBLE LP AT A CHEAPER PRICE THAN THE HUGE FORTUNE REQUIRED TO OWN A MINT COPY THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AS AN EARLIEST POSSIBLE 1ST PRESSING WITH EARLIEST TURQUOISE COVER, EARLIEST SUPERHYPE LABELS EARLIEST UNCORRECTED MATRIXES - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE It really is a GREAT looking LP and it is truly rare to find any copies of this MEGA rare LP in this sort of condition THIS WILL BE YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO BUY AN ORIGINAL 1969 UK EARLIEST 1ST PRESSING OF LED ZEPPELIN BY LED ZEPPELIN Dont forget to take a look at all my other items including many other TOP LPs and contact me with any queries you may have.
