There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP set of this age.
The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings.
We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all, let alone like this.
NOT EVEN CLOSE IN FACT There are some tiny tiny whisp lines and nothing else visible at all on this vinyl a few dust specs in the sleeves where this LP has remained archived away since 1972 ..yes...quite astonishing One tiny little bareyl visible spindle skate around the centre holes again suggests this LP set has maybe had one, it shows no signs of any wear at all..
Not much to add here, other than this archived LP is simply incredible, and you will never see better..
OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY FINAL UPGRADE COLLECTION.
YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.
THE SLEEVE MINT- AS NEW INCREDIBLE.
Correct LAMINATED Gatefold first issued earliest sleeve by Garrod Lofthouse -- this is straight out the box from 1972 ....the best sleeve we have ever seen in fact This is in simply incredible condition, you will not see better than this we feel THE LAMINATION IS SIMPLY LIKE NEW NO BUBBLING WEAR OR CREASING ANYWHERE.
The edges are all super clean with no traces of rub, and the tips also have no rub, all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition- The finish is immaculate remains in absolute museum condition.
No powdery white ringwear or even ring press of any note, and all edges are super crisp.
The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition with no hint of handling Only two tiny spider lines on the top edge, one tiny one on the bottom and one tiny thin hairline graze on the back sleeve.
There is also the tiniest beginnings of ring press in a few spots..but again, we have never seen a sleeve with such minimal ringpress as this before..not even close.
there is a slight ripple where the lamination is pulled tight across the sleeve and is simply pristine.
The open out of the gatefold is simply perfect, no dulling, white rub or wear at all.
We have never seen a first sleeve without some kind of white wear and damage on the bottom inside seams where the glue stuck the sides together on manufacturing- a very common problem with these sleeves ..THIS SLEVE HAS AVOIDED THIS TOTALLY AND IS IN 100 BRAND NEW CONDITION..AMAZING The spine edge is totally unmarked and all legends are perfect-there are no spots or signs of any wear at all WE CLARIFY BY SAYING, THIS SLEEVE IS SIMPLY MINT-, AND THE VINYL SET IS ALSO AS MINT AS YOU COULD FIND.
A BETTER COPY OF THIS OUT THERE? WE DOUBT IT.
