PMC 7055 MONO XEX 689 -1 1 G XEX 690 - 1 1 R Released in 1968 on the yellow and black PARLOPHONE label, I am offering today this extremely rare original first UK MONO pressing of this DEEP PURPLE stunning debut album titled SHADES OF DEEP PURPLE .
This is a phantom to Purple collectors as it sold in such small quantity and every track is a winner.
The album is a mega rare first UK pressing with SOLD IN UK SUBJECT TO RETAIL PRICE CONDITIONS text The album comes complete with Garrod Lofthouse patents pending front laminated flip back single sleeve which is in very good condition with no stickers and no unwanted writing etc but shows some creasing to the front panel but still a very respectable example.
I have just played this through for these listing purposes and apart from it being a very enjoyable listen, I am pleased to say that it plays well with absolutely no sticks or skips etc, but there is some light crackle so if you are fussy this will not be for you.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT MINT OR EXCELLENT BUT A VERY GOOD EXAMPLE.
A GREAT ADDITION FOR ANYONE WHO DOES NOT WANT TO PAY 600 FOR A TOP COPY.
On my system it played through well but there was some crackle in the quieter areas The VINYL, The Vinyl visually shows quite a few light scuffs and scratches but overall is an very good player.
with absolutely no nasty sticks or skips etc and a vibrant sound.
The SLEEVE, The Garrod Lofthouse Patents pending front laminated flip back single sleeve is in very clean condition with no stickers splits or unwanted writing etc but there is some creases on the front panel.
The LABELS, The Black Yellow PARLOPHONE labels are clean, Needless to say they are free from unwanted writing or stickers etc.
The INNER, The original purple white company inner is clean and free from unwanted writing or splits etc but is showing some creasing.
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won t insult you by writing song lyrics etc.
