PATENT No 1224339 AT THE FOOT OF THE REAR SURFACE FIRST PRESSES CAME WITH A TRIFOLD POSTER LYRICS PRINTED ON THIN WHITE GLOSSY PAPER WITH THE CATALOGUE NUMBER TOP RIGHT CORNER THE INNER SLEEVE MUST BE A POLY LINED DIECUT INNER WITH PATENT NO S 1125555 1072844 PRINTED IN THE BOTTOM LEFT CORNER, AND MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN PRINTED BOTTOM RIGHT THE RECORDS THE LABELS THE PURPLE AND WHITE LABELS ARE IN SUPERB ORIGINAL UNMOLESTED CONDITION.
THE PURPLE BASE COLOUR IS RICH AND VIBRANT, AND FULLY STRETCHES INTO THE UNWORN SPINDLE HOLE.
THE WHITE CENTRE SECTION IS ALSO WHITE AND UNMARKED.
THERE ARE 3-4 SPIDER LINES CLOSE TO THE HOLE TO SHOW THAT THE LP HAS HAD VERY LITTLE PLAY IN IT S 42 YEARS HAS THE GRAMOPHONE CO 1ST PRESS RIM WORDING THE VINYL THE VINYL IS A HEAVYWEIGHT DISC AND SHINES LIKE NEW.ALL OF THE ORIGINAL SHEEN AND LUSTER HAS BEEN RETAINED IN DAYLIGHT IT LOOKS TOTALLY FLAWLESS, AND ONLY WHEN PLACED UNDER INTENSE ILLUMINATION CAN I SEE A FEW WISPY HAIRLINES, AND A COUPLE OF ANGEL HAIR HANDLING LINES, AND A SMALL NON SOUNDING SCUFF ON TRACK ONE SIDE TWO I BELIEVE THAT IF YOU ARE GOING TO SPEND YOUR MONEY ON A FANTASTIC COLLECTIBLE VINYL, THAT YOU SHOULD BE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO HEAR WHAT YOU ARE BUYING.
I HAVE THEREFORE INVESTED IN THE SOFTWARE THAT ALLOWS YOU TO DO JUST THAT.
I HAVE RECORDED THE ENTIRE ALBUM FROM START TO FINISH, AS I NOW DO WITH ALL THE VINYL I LIST.
I AM CERTAIN THAT BIDDERS WILL WELCOME THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE ABLE TO HEAR THE LP THEY ARE THINKING OF BIDDING ON.
IT S A SERVICE I AM DELIGHTED TO BE ABLE TO OFFER MY CUSTOMERS THE LP PLAYS THROUGH BRILLIANTLY ON BOTH SIDES, AND I WOULD ENCOURAGE YOU TO TAKE A GOOD LISTEN TO THE SOUNDBITES WHICH DEMONSTRATE JUST HOW FANTASTIC IT SOUNDS.
IT WAS SAID THAT THE MK II PURPLE WERE AT THE TIME THE LOUDEST BAND ON THE PLANET, AND THIS SUPERB STEREO REPRODUCTION CERTAINLY CAPTURES THAT, HAVING A CRYSTAL CLEAR, LOUD CUT TO IT.
THERE IS NO HEAVY BACKGROUND CRACKLE WHATSOEVER DURING THE PLAYTHROUGH, AND CERTAINLY NO LOUD CLICKS EITHER NO EMBEDDED VINYL NOISE AND ONLY THE LIGHTEST TRACE OF STATIC OCCASIONALLY IN SOME OF THE LINKING GROOVES AND A COUPLE OF THE MOST SILENT PASSAGES.
ALSO A LITTLE AT THE START OF EACH SIDE FOR A FEW ROTATIONS I HEARD NO MORE THAN 1-2 OF THE TINIEST DUST POPS THROUGH THE WHOLE PLAYTHROUGH I AM HAPPY TO GRADE THIS VINYL NEAR MINT FOR THE PLAYTHROUGH PLEASE TAKE A LISTEN FOR YOURSELF AND YOU BE THE JUDGE THE SLEEVE FULLY LAMINATED GATEFOLD SLEEVE FROM GARROD AND LOFTHOUSE THE FRONT SURFACE GLEAMS LIKE A POLISHED MIRROR, AND LOOKS MAGNIFICENT.
THERE ARE JUST TWO TINY LAMINATE LINES AGAINST THE SPINE.
NONE WHATSOEVER ALONG THE TOP EDGE, AND NONE ALONG THE BOTTOM EDGE, .
NO THUMB LINES NEAR THE OPENING EDGE HOWEVER.
THE ONLY THING THATS MARS THIS SUPERB SLEEVE IS A SMALL DING TO THE BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER, WHERE THERE IS A DENT TO THE TIP AND A SMALL CREASE LINE RUNNING ACROSS THE CORNER TIP.
WITHOUT THAT THE FRONT WOULD HAVE BEEN AS MINT AS I HAVE SEEN.
THERE ARE NO HEAVY CREASES OR CREASE LINES ON THE MAIN BODY OF THE SLEEVE AND NO LAMINATE LIFT PEEL OR FLAKE.
APART FROM ONE MINUSCULE SPECK ON THE BOTTOM LEFT CORNER TIP THE TOP AND BOTTOM EDGES ARE FULLY LAMINATED AND APART FROM THAT LITTLE BIT OF DAMAGE TO THE BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER TIP THE EDGES ARE UNRUBBED EVEN AT THE OTHER THREE CORNERS.
THE SPINE IS ALSO MINT.
100 FLAT AND UNSQUASHED WITH ALL OF THE LAMINATE PERFECT IN EVERY WAY.
BOTH TOP AND BOTTOM TIPS ARE PRISTINE THE OPENING EDGE IS RAZOR SHARP WITH JUST A COUPLE OF TINY THUMB NAIL NICKS VISIBLE ON THE REAR EDGE THE REAR SURFACE IS EVERY BIT AS CLEAN AND MARK FREE AS THE FRONT.
IDENTICAL TO THE FRONT IN EVERY WAY ALTHOUGH THE LITTLE CORNER DING IS LESS PROMINENT ON THE REAR OPENING THE GATEFOLD REVEALS A PRISTINE NON LAMINATED INNER SURFACE WITH UNMARKED PANELS.
UNUSUALLY THERE IS NO SMALL WHITE SLIVER AT THE EDGE OF THE LAMINATE ON BOTH SIDES AT THE BOTTOM WHERE THE SLEEVE WAS STUCK WHILST THE LAMINATE WAS STILL HOT.
WHICH IS EVIDENT ON SOME COPIES THE ORIGINAL FOLD UP POSTER IS IN MINT MINUS CONDITION , THE FOLD LINES ARE SHARP AND THE SURFACE IS UNMARKED, JUST A SMALL CREASE LINE TO THE BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER THE ORIGINAL WHITE DIE CUT POLY LINED INNER SLEEVE IS IN UNSPLIT, CLEAN AND FLAT CONDITION, JUST A LITTLE GLUE AGEING TO THE PERIMETER EDGES VERY HAPPY TO GRADE THIS SLEEVE NEAR MINT GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR BID IF YOU CHOSE TO GO FOR IT GARRY Powered by eBay Turbo Lister
