Item Description
RARE AND HARD-TO-FIND RECORDS FROM CHILE South America FOR COLLECTORS WORLDWIDE ALL OUR RECORDS ARE PLAY TESTED AND THEY ARE IN GREAT CONDITION DEEP PURPLE SIDE A: STORMBRINGER Provocador De Tormentas SIDE B: LOVE DON T MEAN A THING El Amor No Significa Nada MEGARARE and HARD-TO-FIND Purple Records very first Stereo press released, made and distributed in Chile in 1975 by Industrias El ctricas Y Musicales Odeon S.A.
Odeon Records , catalog number SMSOD-8953, with hand etched matrix numbers TPS-3508 A/1 1 in Side A and TPS-3508 A/2 1 in Side B, with traditional purple/black Purple Records labels and very unusual big hole.
Yes Sirs, ANOTHER FIND from Chile Amazing rarity for all Deep Purple lovers, fans and collectors It s very important to know that single Stormbringer has 2 pressings released in Chile in 1975, the first of them with the large hole and darker purple color in labels and the standard version with the small hole and not so dark purple color in labels.
It s impossible to know how many copies with the large hole were released, but it s almost impossible to find, well, both pressings are real rarities but this copy with the large hole sure is one of the top rarities from Chile.
And now by the very first time in eBay you have the chance to own the real very first press of this megarare single by Deep Purple released here in Chile and with 1/1 stampers WOW A MUST TO HAVE The cover is only a generic cover which s in VG or VG condition as you can see in the pictures, this single never had a Picture Sleeve.
The record is in G or VG- condition both sides, still glossy and clean, but with scuffs, hairlines and light scratches of all kind, directions and sizes, at first sight you could even doubt this record will play properly, but these old records were made to last and this record sure it s a great example, because the record plays with no problem.
Labels on both sides are in great VG or EX- condition, clean and clear, with general spindle hole wear, normal age browning and in Side B it seems to have marks of humidity, but as you can see in the pictures, both labels are free of writings, tears, stickers, they both look very well.
The sound is the best surprise, it s in great VG- or VG condition both sides, loud, clear and clean, with a soft background noise surface noise is normal in records from Chile , constant light crackles and some soft occasional pops and clicks, more evident in Side B, which don t really cause major distraction from the great sound this record still keeps from the beginning to the end.
Overall this is a great record in this MEGARARE PRESS by the very first time auctioned in eBay, sure not for Minty minds or audiophiles, but still with a very nice glossy look, clean labels and a very decent and respectable sound quality after 41 years which shouldn t disappoint anyone And don t forget this is the REAL VERY PRESS of single Stormbringer released in Chile, with 1/1 STAMPERS and ULTRA RARE LARGE HOLE Yes Sirs, what a FIND Click on the pictures to enlarge and see the labels and cover in detail.

VERY GOOD VG : The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD G : The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
