This amazing time-capsule example was purchased in 1964 from a shop called The Record Centre which was located at 129-133 Bridge Street in Warrington, Cheshire - around 50 miles from Liverpool.
Upon arriving home from The Record Centre , the purchaser of this LP chose not to immediately discard the shop s paper bag and kept the LP inside it for the next 52 years. As a result, the LP appears here in virtually the same condition it left the shop over half a century ago.
You will see many Beatles LPs on Ebay listed as NEAR MINT but I think you will agree that this example is truly deserving of that grade.

Labels: NEAR MINT
Both are clean bright with a handful of light spindle trails around the side 2 centre hole only. The two marks at the 5 7 o clock positions on label 1 are small creases in the label s paper made during manufacture and are not scratches or damage.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Sparkling, deep-gloss playing surfaces which are clean unworn - there are no scuffs or scratches anywhere. Apart from some harmless light marks from the inner-sleeve on side 2 beneath halogen light, there really is nothing to fault here. Both sides of this gem lie 100 flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: MINT
Despite having been played a couple of times, the sound-quality on this example is truly flawless. Each track plays with a clarity and warmth unmatched by any other pressing of this album. Most copies of this edition suffer from groovewear on the two innermost tracks - Can t Buy Me Love I ll Be Back especially - but this is not the case on this disc. There are also no clicks, pops, ticks or any other audible distraction on this truly unbeatable sounding copy which is guaranteed not to disappoint.
Cover: NEAR MINT
Although graded Near Mint , we don t think you will ever come across a more as new looking example.
The front panel laminate retains a perfect factory high-gloss finish. The only blemish is the faint print-through impression of the title of the LP as it is written on the bag, which is only visible at an angle.
There is a small bruise to the upper left corner and a tiny rub to the tip of the lower right corner, but the other two and both opening edges are perfect.
The rear panel is total perfection.
All flipbacks are in perfect condition too.
Both seams are smooth, unstressed and unsplit the spine is perfectly clean, unbent and wrinkle-free.
It s hard to believe that this cover is nearly 52 years old.
Inner-sleeve: NEAR MINT
As clean crisp as it could be with no writing, tear or seam splits.
