1970 Morgan Blue Town BT 5003 BT-5003A-1K / BT-5003B-1K EX incredibly light scuffs most would say NM Our auction items are cleaned on a Vpi HW-27 Typhoon Record Cleaning Machine EX- a couple light spindle marks but mostly untouched VG original fragile textured flip-back sleeve a little handling and shelf wear, some light fading to the print otherwise nice and solid with a clear, legible spine Click to hear a sample taken from this item.

Very rare, almost never found in this nearly pristine condition. One of the heaviest heavyweight UK prog rarities out there and a very clean example of the vinyl, plays wonderfully throughout and with no distortion or wear, because there IS no wear. There are tiny pieces of crackle in the intros to both sides but that s in the pressing, not any kind of damage.. After those, there is nothing but beautiful sound, and for once in the crazy world of prog-rock, really exceptionally good music. It s not just desirable for its rarity, the actual material is top notch.
So hard to find, last year it appears only three copies surfaced on eBay worldwide so you get the point, this one is rare. It s been reissued but to quote one of the reviews of that reissue ...such a lovely album ruined by incompetent remastering . So avoid that. Serious collectors will already know that original means best.
The sleeve is the original flip-back variety that was phased out at almost the same time this LP was pressed, made by Garrod Lofthouse and using unlaminated, thin, textured card so it was very easy to damage... this one is not mint but is otherwise undamaged, no rips, tears or anything missing, just a little fading with age don t we all and a little ring-impression where the LP sits in the sleeve, not ring wear, mind you. A very small amount of handling but otherwise a peachy example.
The inner sleeve is the correct soft-lined original, although we have cleaned and replaced the LP in a new sleeve for its protection.
Don t sleep Another one like this won t come around any time soon..
