Here s a splendid batch of 10 LPs from a few collections we purchased recently. Most came from one large collection. These all have H on the back cover. There are a number of rare Blue Note LPs as well as Prestige, Commodore, Norgran, Pacific Jazz, Bethlehem and others. Highlights include Hank Mobley s first record under his name, Thelonious Monk s first Blue Note dates as well as obscures rarities by artists like Gil Melle, Lou Mecca and Julius Watkins. Please note that 10 inch LPs do not have the fidelity of their 12 inch counterparts and usually also have tape hiss. I have tried to grade conservatively even when records are visually near mint. All grading is guaranteed with full money back if not satisfied. Please read my descriptions as your opinion of the assigned grade may be different than mine. The described grades are extremely accurate.

If we do play grade a record, we will let you know about any noise or flaws in detail in our description. You may or may not agree with our grade or grading system but our description will be complete and accurate for you to make your own grade assessment. Generally, we do not list records below EX- condition unless it is exceptionally rare. We do not recommend audiophiles bid on records in less than NM condition. Our grading standard is as follows.
Mint is only used for sealed records or records that we are certain have never been played.
NM or Near Mint is for the most part as good as it gets No marks and will play clean with no noise unless inherent in the pressing.
EX Will generally have minor flaws like sleeve scuffs, but will overall be near mint.
EX or Excellent will have light surface marks and some light background noise in spots and/or a couple light clicks or ticks.
EX- Overall an Excellent copy with light surface marks, but with something that distracts, like a small scratch that makes a few pops or a few light repetitive clicks.
VG Consistent background noise or a few pops. No skips or sticking. Still a playable copy.
VG will have problems. Noise will dominate. May have quite a few pops and possibly a quick skip. Groove distortion possible.
VG- Will probably have a skip or two and will be noisy throughout.
G Our lowest grade and is actually a poor record.
Cover grading -
Mint perfect
NM Damn near perfect, at most a minor corner impact.

EX- Splits up to 3 inches or one split up to 5 inches, light to moderate shelf wear or ring wear.
