Interestingly, this was recorded in Joe Henderson s first year with Blue Note and is probably within the first 10 sessions he played there
Sleeve: EX , with no ringwear, no dog-ears, no seam splits, and a small tear in the bottom of the front cover, a review copy stamp on the back cover, some writing in blue ink next to the tracks, as well as slight discoloration on the white bottom of the back. Back cover has the 43 W 61 St, New York 23 address.
Record: side 1 - NM, with two very light needle trails that do not affect playback side 2 - NM, with a few very light scuffs from coming out of the sleeve and one tiny pressing fault tiny, think pin-tip, raised bump in the second track. Quite possible that the second side was never played.
Overall a beautiful copy of this beautiful album.
I am a university professor of music here in the US
who inherited this and other records from a collector a few years back. I am
looking to sell off some of these records to collectors/audiophiles who can get
more enjoyment out of them than I can.
Thanks for looking.
