This amazing time-capsule example was purchased in 1966 from a shop called The Record Centre which was located at 129-133 Bridge Street in Warrington, Cheshire - around 50 miles from Liverpool.
Upon arriving home from The Record Centre , the purchaser of this LP chose not to immediately discard the shop s paper bag and kept the LP inside it for the next 50 years. As a result, the LP appears here in virtually the same condition it left the shop half a century ago.
You will see many Beatles LPs on Ebay listed as NEAR MINT but I think you will agree that this example is truly deserving of that grade.

Labels: NEAR MINT
A pristine pair bearing just two small light spindle trails around the side 2 centre hole only.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Both playing surfaces are immaculate and retain all of their deep-gloss factory shine, only some harmless wispy paper hairlines from the inner-sleeve visible only beneath halogen light.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
It s extremely hard to find a clean sounding copy of this pressing, but this superb example it one as it has been played just once or twice at most. All tracks are free from any groovewear, crackle or background interference. Even the most easily worn tracks Eleanor Rigby Here, There Everywhere , play without any distortion or break-up. The only distraction which caught our ears during play-check were a couple of light ticks on the introduction to Love You To . This great sounding disc will not disappoint.
Cover: NEAR MINT
An outstanding example of this classic cover which must be one of the finest examples around.
The front panel laminate is super-clean with just a hint of toning but retaining a perfect, unscratched high-gloss laminate free from any thumbnail wrinkles or any other blemishes.
There is merest hint of shelfwear to the lower corners but the upper two both opening edges are in superb condition.
The rear panel is immaculate - clean black where it should be and without any trace of ringwear, marks or writing.
All flipbacks are fully intact with just a single wrinkle on the upper and three and on the lower one.
Both seams are smooth, unstressed and unsplit the spine is unbent and fully worded.
You will not find a better example.
Inner-sleeve: NEAR MINT
Flat clean with slight age-toning but no writing, tear or seam splits.
