About me :
Since 1966 I collected 78 rpm records, principally classical pianists. I was looking in many, many second-hand and charitiy-chops, collectors fair, fleamarkets and so on in France, Germany, Austria , Italy and of course in Switzerland. I had always a good contact with others collectors in Great Britain and in the States. Since 1970 I was for a long time member of the City of London Phonograph and Gramophone Society, from 1985 member of the Schellack-Schallplatten-Sammler-Verein, Vienna and from 1990 until today member of the International Association of Sound and Audiovisual Archives IASA, section DE/CH. I m not a really record collector, more an admirer of the pianists and a music lover.
If you have any problem about 78 rpm records or a want list I never found any record of Grieg except the Historic HMV , Ilona Eibensch tz, Alexander Michalowski and the legendary Path of Bernhard Stavenhagen please inform me.
