Issue : UK RARE TURQUOISE 1st PRESS
This is the exceptionally rare UK 1st Press of ‘Led Zeppelin’. This press is complete with all the rarest original features. The A1/B1 uncorrected matrix, only the very earliest off the press were not corrected. It has the ‘Superhype’ credit on both labels and the rare turquoise text sleeve.
The record is in Good condition. The vinyl is still glossy and the grooves are still a superb jet black. There are however a couple of needle marks on both sides and a number of the lightest hairlines on both sides. There is a name on one side but the labels are still extremely bright. The black text is sharp and the white is exceptionally clean. There is only the slightest spindle wear.
When played the vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable. The sound is bold and vibrant, with very good audio separation and clarity throughout. There is some light noise and a few clicks on marks but there are certainly no skips or jumps and even though there is light noise it can still be enjoyed from start to finish.
This rare and highly collectable sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. The white is still exceptionally bright and the rare turquoise text is sharp and clear. The black zeppelin image is unworn and the laminate still has a superb gloss. There are a few little laminate creases, a crease in the corner and light corner wear. The rear of the sleeve is also extremely bright. The photos are sharp and the text is clear. The whole lightweight sleeve is still solid and the thin spine has sharp text. _gsrx_vers_625 (GS 6.9.7 (625))
