Here s an original copy of this much beloved psychedelic album by Ohio s own Morly Grey for your consideration. This album has a magic all it s own, and is solid from start to finish. Great songs and brilliant playing throughout the entire performance. This record truly lives up to it s reputation.
I frequently get asked how to identify, or differentiate between the original copies and the fake pressing that have been around since the late 1980s. In reality .. the fake copy has many notable differences when you see them side-by-side. Still I ve noticed them turn up on ebay occasionally being offered as original. The easiest ways to tell the difference using only pictures is by looking at the back of the album jacket. While both have the white backs...the original has a brown border on 3 sides where the front slick wraps around the the back. The fake copies do not, and are white all the way to each of the four edges.
Another way to spot the differences are by looking at the label. The silver swirl on the fake copy was printed after the text was printed. So the silver ink is over top of the black text, and partially covers the black text where they cross. The original copies have sharp solid black text where it meets the silver swirl.. just as it should be. Should you have any questions on the topic ..feel free to inquire.
