Mega rare 1971 Paul McCartney 8 double sided mono acetate of Another Day Oh Woman-Oh Why, Why, Why .
This acetate was made at Sound Recorders Studio which was once the in house recording and mastering studio at Capitol Records.
I marked the condition of the record as excellent but its probably more mint -.
It looks unplayed with some light dust on it.
Also included is a handwritten note from Buz Wilburn who worked as the head of promotion s at Capitol Records at that time before becoming a record producer himself.
Paul McCartney Another Day mono acetate This is an uncirculated acetate recording and is likely the same mix as found on the rare promo single.
In Eight Arms To Hold You, Chip Madinger states, ...the promotional version...was especially mixed to mono.
Most of the differences lie in the level and placement of the instruments, and shows the effects of being treated with echo not heard on the stereo mix.
