had quite a few extra items of UTMOST RARITY come in to me this week
they really are TOP QUALITY, and NOT cheap overstock and completely
ran out of time to list them last Sunday - I decided to do a one off
set of listings of Wednesday auctions ending on Wednesday 2nd July So

On offer here is a VERY rare LP especially in this condition by The Rolling Stones called Aftermath and is an ORIGINAL 1966 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press UNBOXED Grooved Decca label THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND THIS IS ONE OF THE ROLLING STONES RAREST LPS EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs ON THE DECCA LABEL - AND IS INCREDIBLY TOUGH TO LOCATE TODAY BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE, WITH AN ULTRA RARE PURPLE SHADOW COVER AND THIS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - THE ORIGINAL DESIGN INCLUDED A PURPLE SHADOW BEHIND THE TITLE AFTERMATH ON THE COVER FRONT SEE PICTURES HOWEVER, AT THE LAST MINUTE THIS DESIGN WAS DROPPED - AND THE PURPLE SHADOW ON THE COVER FRONT WAS THEN REMOVED ON ALL LATER COVERS BEFORE THIS HAPPENED HOWEVER, AN ABSOLUTELY TINY FEW LEAKED OUT INTO CIRCULATION - BEFORE IT WAS WITHDRAWN AS A RESULT, ONLY AN ABSOLUTELY TINY HANDFUL OF THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSINGS ONLY - EVER CAME LIKE THIS NO MORE THAN A FEW HUNDRED AT THE VERY MOST , AND THIS MAKES THIS LP ONE OF THE ALL TIME RAREST ROLLING STONES EVER MADE SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS THE EARLIEST RAREST 1ST PRESSING OF THIS INCREDIBLE LP EVER MADE
BUT THERE ARE OTHER DETAILS - THAT MAKE THIS LP EVEN RARER STILL, AND QUITE LITERALLY THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE AND FOR THOSE WHO DONT KNOW - HERE ARE ALL THE DIFFERENCES BELOW - WHICH ONLY EXISTED ON THIS EARLIEST 1ST PRESS WITHDRAWN SHADOW COVER ONLY HERE ARE THE ALL IMPORTANT DIFFERENCES:-
1 THE TITLE ON THE COVER FRONT HAS A PURPLE SHADOW BEHIND IT SEE PICTURE WHICH WAS REMOVED ON ALL LATER PRESSINGS
2 THE LK 4786 CAT NUMBER ON THE REVERSE IS SET BELOW THE WORD MONO IN THE TOP RIGHT CORNER OF THE COVER BACK - WHEREAS ON ALL LATER COVERS THE LK 4786 TEXT WAS MOVED TO THE RIGHT
4 AT THE TOP OF THE COVER BACK ON THIS EARLIEST 1ST PRESS COVER - THE WORDS AFTER-MATH THE ROLLING STONES ARE MUCH LARGER THAN LATER COVERS
5 THE BACK COVER PICTURE IS NOTICEABLY SMALLER ON THIS SHADOW COVER AND MADE LARGER ON LATER ISSUES.
6 THE WORDS AFTERMATH AND THE ROLLING STONES ARE SET MUCH HIGHER UP ON THE SPINE ON THIS SHADOW COVER - WHEREAS ALL LATER ONES HAD THEM SET LOWER. STRANGELY THE BOTTOM SPINE TEXT DECCA MONO LK 4786 ALWAYS REMAINED IN THE SAME PLACE.
7 ON THIS SHADOW COVER THE WHOLE COVER IS UNDERSIZED SLIGHTLY SMALLER THAN ALL LATER COVERS RESULTING IN THE RIGHT HAND BOX ON THE COVER BACK CONTAINING ALL THE CREDITS TRACK LISTINGS BEING TOO LARGE AND GOING OFF THE EDGE OF THE TOP BOTTOM OF THE COVER. ON ALL LATER COPIES THIS WAS CORRECTED WITH A WHITE BORDER AROUND THE TOP BOTTOM OF THE BOX ON THE COVER BACK.
8 THE PICTURE ON THE COVER
BACK IS NOTICEABLY CLEARER ON THIS SHADOW COVER - WHEREAS ON ALL
LATER COVERS IT IS SLIGHTLY BLURRED.
THESE ARE ALL THE AMAZING DIFFERENCES THAT THIS EARLIEST EVER COVER CAME WITH - BEFORE IT WAS WITHDRAWN AND COMPLETELY REDESIGNED SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS THE EARLIEST , RAREST MOST SOUGHT 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP EVER MADE

The record labels are in SUPERB condition see pictures with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scufflines, only 2 or 3 MEGA light hairlines, only 2 absolutely TINY surface marks, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL JUST PRESSED LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW It is also GREAT to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual The record plays with NO skips, barely ANY clicks AT ALL, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either The record must grade Very Good if not better Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to Brillant The record comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition The ULTRA RARE Earliest 1st Press Robert Stace Laminated Purple Shadow Cover is in BRILLIANT condition It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear NOT through the colour , NO rips, NO tears, only a few VERY light creases cover is VERY flat looking , only the usual line of laminate lifting along the spinal edge, NO splits, shiny laminate, NO annotations, NO yellowing, and NO writing The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO ringwear, only 1 TINY grubby mark to the EXTREME right, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, and NO writing The cover must grade grade Very Good if not better THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY
