Item Description

The Beatles white album
Early pressing with numbered top loading sleeve
Low Number 0189962
Mono PMC 7067-8
Matrices XEX 709-2, XEX 710-1, XEX 711-1, XEX 712-1

Sleeve is in fantastic condition. Very clean and still very white with no tears or writing. Opening edge still sharp with no feathering. Spine intact and readable. A beautiful example. An easy EX if not better
Vinyl is almost flawless, very clean and glossy. Sides 1,2 and 3 are totally unmarked. Only side 4 has a couple of very faint surface scuffs which don t affect audio. A stunning example that looks virtually unplayed. Sides 1-3 NM, side 4 EX
Audio is also stunning. Perfectly crisp and distortion free. Silent between tracks and of course no sticks, skips or pops. A couple of light clicks during the intro to side 4 track 1is the only fault. Sides 1-3 NM, side 4 EX
Labels are clean with only a couple of very faint spindle marks but no writing or stickers. NM
Posters and photos all intact and unused. NM
Also includes original black inners which have no splits or tears and only very minor handling creases. EX

Overall a stunning example of this mono record, one of the best I have seen. EX /NM

Gradings

Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc..

Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Bad: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
