THE RECORDS
THE LABELS
THE DARK RED AND SILVER UNBOXED LABELS ARE IN MAGNIFICENT CONDITION. NO STAINS OR HANDLING MARKS. THE DEEP RICH COLOUR STRETCHES FULLY INTO THE UNWORN SPINDLE HOLE. THE SILVER TYPEFACE AND LOGOS ARE ALL UNRUBBED AND PERFECTLY LEGIBLE. THERE ARE 5-6 SMALL SPIDER LINES CLOSE TO THE SPINDLE HOLE SHOWING JUST HOW LITTLE THIS ALBUM HAS BEEN NEAR A TURNTABLE.
THE VINYL
THIS HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL IS IN SUPERB CONDITION, REALLY GLOSSY AND NOT DULL LIKE MOST WORN OUT COPIES. IN DAY LIGHT THE DISC LOOKS FLAWLESS
EVEN WHEN PLACED UNDER INTENSE ILLUMINATION THERE IS NOTHING TO SEE OTHER THAN A COUPLE OF MINUSCULE WISPY HAIRLINES. AND ONE NON SOUNDING ANGEL HAIRLINE HANDLING LINE ON SIDE ONE
PLAYING THE RECORD
I BELIEVE THAT IF YOU ARE GOING TO SPEND YOUR MONEY ON A FANTASTIC COLLECTIBLE VINYL, THAT YOU SHOULD BE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO HEAR WHAT YOU ARE BUYING. I HAVE THEREFORE INVESTED IN THE SOFTWARE THAT ALLOWS YOU TO DO JUST THAT.
I HAVE RECORDED THE ENTIRE ALBUM FROM START TO FINISH AS I AM DOING WITH ALL MY LISTINGS, AS I AM CONVINCED THAT BIDDERS WILL LOVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE ABLE TO HEAR THE RECORD BEFORE LAYING A BID. THIS IS A SERVICE I AM DELIGHTED TO BE ABLE TO OFFER MY CUSTOMERS
THE RECORD PLAYS AS NEW ALL THE WAY THROUGH BOTH SIDES WITHOUT DISTORTION WHATSOEVER, MEANING THAT THE FEW PLAYS THE LP HAS RECEIVED WAS COMPLETED ON A SYSTEM THAT HAD A CORRECTLY WEIGHTED STYLUS AND ALSO UNWORN .
PLEASE PLAY THE SOUNDBITES AND THEN YOU WILL TRULY APPRECIATE JUST HOW MAGNIFICENT THIS 1966 RECORDING TRULY IS
FIRSTLY THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO EMBEDDED VINYL NOISE AND THE LINKING GROOVES ARE MAINLY DEATHLY SILENT WITH JUST THE VERY ODD TINY SPECK OF STATIC LIKE BACKGROUND HEARD IN SOME OF THEM
I HEARD THREE TINY TICS ON SIDE ONE AND ONE ON SIDE TWO
OTHER THAN THIS THERE IS THE VERY OCCASIONAL SPECK OF LIGHT AND BARELY AUDIBLE STATIC
WITH ALL THINGS CONSIDERED AND TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE STUNNING CONDITION OF THIS ALBUM I AM GOING TO STICK MY NECK OUT AND GRADE THIS PLAYTHROUGH AS MINT MINUS CERTAINLY NEAR MINT AT THE VERY LOWEST GRADE.
HERE YOU HAVE A GENUINE STONES 1ST PRESS IN THE MOST UNIMAGINABLE CONDITION POSSIBLE. DON T JUST TAKE MY WORD FOR IT THOUGH, PLAY ALL OF THE SOUNDBITES AND JUDGE IT AGAINST YOUR OWN PERSONAL STANDARDS
THE SLEEVE
LAMINATED FRONT SURFACE, NON LAMINATED REAR SURFACE ROBERT STACE SINGLE SLEEVE
I HAVE OFTEN MENTIONED JUST HOW THIN THESE EARLY STONES ALBUM SLEEVES ARE. WHEN YOU CONSIDER THE QUALITY SLEEVES THAT THE BEATLES ALBUMS CAME IN IT, MAKE YOU WONDER WHY THEY DECIDED TO PUT WHAT WOULD BE VERY POPULAR RECORDS IN SLEEVES THAT COULDN T HANDLE THE CONSTANT REMOVAL AND INSERTION OF THE VINYL
HERE HOWEVER WE HAVE A BARELY PLAYED VINYL AND THEREFORE A BARELY HANDLED SLEEVE WHICH IS IN THE MOST MAGNIFICENT CONDITION POSSIBLE
THE FRONT SURFACE WHICH IS USUALLY CREASED ALL OVER, ON THIS COPY IS IN EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION. THE FRONT SURFACE GLEAMS LIKE A POLISHED MIRROR, AND THERE ARE NO HEAVY CREASES OR CREASE LINES WHATSOEVER. NO FOLDS OR BENDS, AND EVEN THE SMALL LAMINATE LINES NEAR THE SPINE ARE RESTRICTED TO JUST ONE MINUSCULE ONE. NONE WHATSOEVER ALONG THE TOP EDGE, NONE ALONG THE BOTTOM EDGE, AND ONE TINY THUMB LINE NEAR THE OPENING EDGE
THE FOUR CORNERS ARE SHARP AND SQUARE. THERE IS A SMALL SLIVER OF LAMINATE LIFT AGAINST THE SPINE
THE TOP EDGE IS FREE FROM ANY SHELF WEAR WHATSOEVER,WITH THE LAMINATE PERFECT ALL THE WAY FROM CORNER TO CORNER, AND THE BOTTOM EDGE IS IDENTICAL. BOTH HAVE ULTRA SMOOTH SURFACES TO THE TOUCH AND NO RUB TO THE CORNER TIPS
THE SPINE IS ONCE AGAIN FULLY LAMINATED, NO PEEL OR FLAKE, THE TAPERED ENDS ARE PERFECT AND UNRUBBED. THE TYPEFACE IS PRISTINE AND UNBLEMISHED
THE OPENING EDGE IS RAZOR SHARP
THE REAR SURFACE HAS RETAINED ALL OF THE POROUS WHITE SURFACE INTOP WHITE CONDITION THERE IS THE BAREST SHADOW OF LIGHT NATURAL AGEING MAINLY AROUND THE EDGES. THERE IS NO RING WEAR
THE ORIGINAL BLUE TEXT POLY LINED INNER SLEEVE IS INCLUDED AND IS IN EXCEPTIONAL UNSPLIT CONDITION, ONE LIGHT CORNER CREASE, AND NATURAL AGEING TO THE SURFACE MORE AT THE EDGES THAN THE MIDDLE
I AM HAPPY TO BE ABLE TO GRADE THIS SLEEVE MINT MINUS
GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR BID IF YOU CHOSE TO GO FOR IT
