The cover grades VG with just slight, general wear. A visual grade of the record is between VG and VG with nice gloss. A play grade is VG with very minimal surface noise. Near Mint or Mint Minus - Top condition with the most minimal of wear.
VG - Not quite near mint but super clean. A nice desirable copy.
VG - Signs of wear but no significant defects.
VG - More obvious signs of wear but VG does NOT mean beat.
VG minus - Obvious, moderate to heavy wear. OK for a filler copy.
G - Serious wear. Only acceptable for the rarest of records.
