RARE NIMBUS SUPERCUTS LP MATRIX: HVL 814 - A-1 / SHVL 814 B-1 Nimbus Records have achieved somewhat of a legendary status within the audiophile circle for their Supercut releases, which were only available by mail order through the Hi-Fi Today magazine in the late 1970 s.
Nimbus mastered each release from the original master tapes using the best available mastering processes and had ICI produce an extremely pure vinyl for the LPs, which has amazing frequency reproduction and is virtually noise free.
Due to their rarity and small pressing quantities of around 1,000, they are often more expensive than audiophile LPs from other labels, but the sums paid can be justified by the outstanding quality of the pressings and the fact that they tend to rise in value over time and as such are deemed as an investment.

This amazing landmark album by Pink Floyd needs no introduction by me but if this is one of your favourite albums believe me when I tell you, that this is the only way to hear this album.
The additional detail and clarity to be found on the Nimbus version puts all other versions in the shade.
SIDE 1 Shine On You Crazy Diamond Part One Welcome to The Machine SIDE 2 Have a Cigar Wish You Were Here Shine On You Crazy Diamond Part Two CONDITION This LP is over 40 years old so I am reluctant to grade anything that old as Mint but this is a beautiful archival copy.
I am incredibly fussy when it comes to condition and have searched the globe in pursuit of perfection when collecting treasured titles, often upgrading at huge cost just to get that perfect copy.
I will always be 100 honest and try to mention everything however small because I know that you as a serious collector demand the same.
I know only full well the dissappointment and time wasting of dealing with sellers who mislead when it comes to condition.
RECORD: MINT- Have played once right through and can not detect any problems whatsover.
No visual marks whatsover.
RECORD LABELS: MINT Have studied labels by spindle hole under a magnifying glass and can see no evidence of play.
My own play referred to was oh so careful.
OUTER SLEEVE: MINT- Printed by Garrod Lofthouse Limited with design by Hipgnosis.
Lovely white cover front and back.
Very minor ding to top left corner.
Hint of rubbing wear to cover edges.
Very slight wear to title on spine per picture.
INNER SLEEVE: MINT INSERT POSTCARD: MINT PACKAGING INFORMATION This is from my own personal collection put together over the last 40 years.
All my records are stored upright with the records removed from their original sleeve and put into a new white sleeve which is then put into a stiff white protective card sleeve, this saves wear on the original inner record sleeve and prevents ringwear.
The outer sleeves are then carefully put into a heavyweight plastic sleeve.
This is how they will be delivered to you and will be sent in strong and secure packaging to ensure they arrive with you in the same condition as they leave me.
