Item Description

To the best of my knowledge this the first time since 2012 this album has appeared on eBay.
The most important thing to start with is the cover condition and LPs condition so here goes.
As you can see from the pictures the cover at best can only be described as poor.
When I purchased this album in 1981 it was in this condition.
I bought it, played it once and replaced it in a plastic sleeve and it has been there ever since.
It has been sellotaped down both edges which has now dried out and allowed the album cover to split see picture .
The picture on the front cover I think has been added by the original owner.
They have also hand written the track listing on the back cover.
Now to the LPs.
They play absolutely fine apart from track 1 Green is the Colour where it sticks.
I added a coin to the arm over the stylus, as we used to do, and it plays through it fine.
I have been totally honest about this Mega Rare 2 live set.
I have hidden nothing.
I am a life long Pink Floyd fan so I am aware of how rare this album is.
I have copied and pasted a write up I found on Disgogs below to show how rare this album is.
Good luck on your bidding.
UNTIL NOW THIS BOOTLEG HAS ALWAYS BEEN THOUGHT OF AS AN EXTREMELY RARE WIZARDO TEST PRESSING OF THE TWO SEPERATE ALBUMS MIRACLE MUFFLER TAKE LINDA SURFING .
HOWEVER SOME NEW INFORMATION HAS COME TO LIGHT THAT SHOWS THIS TO BE INCORRECT.
THE TRUE HISTORY OF THIS ALBUM IS AS FOLLOWS......IN THE EARLY SEVENTIES LATE 1972 AN ENGLISH BOOTLEG DEALER/DISTRIBUTOR KNOWN AS FREDDY STOMPER THE MARKED HAND DECIDED THAT AS WELL AS IMPORTING RECORDS FROM THE US EUROPE, HE WOULD ALSO LIKE TO MAKE HIS OWN BOOTLEGS HERE IN THE UK, ONLY TO DISCOVER THAT IT WAS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO FIND A SUITABLY DISCREET PRESSING PLANT THE UK HAS ALWAYS HAD VERY HEAVY COPYRIGHT LAWS .
HE THEN HAD THE IDEA TO USE HIS CONTACTS IN THE US TO COMMISSION TRADE MARK OF QUALITY TO PRESS HIS BOOTLEGS FOR HIM, WHICH HE WOULD THEN IMPORT WITHOUT COVERS AND PACKAGE AND SELL IN THE UK MAYBE EUROPE .
HE ORDERED TITLES BY THE BEATLES, ROLLING STONES, CROSBY STILLS NASH YOUNG AND EMBRWO WHICH HE PROBABLY SOURCED FROM AN ORIGINAL COPY OF M502 .
THE VINYL WAS PRESSED ON BOTH GREEN AND RED/PINK VINYL WITH THE LARGE 1-4 TMOQ LABELS THAT THEY WERE USING ON THEIR REGULAR PRODUCT AT THAT TIME.
UPON ARRIVAL IN THE UK THEY WERE PUT IN PLAIN WHITE COVERS THINNER THAN THE US ONES AND RUBBER STAMPED ON THE FRONT WITH A SMALL PINK INSERT PASTED ON THE REAR.
IT IS NOT KNOWN HOW MANY WERE PRESSED BUT IT WAS UNLIKELY TO BE VERY MANY AND IT IS THOUGHT THAT MOST COPIES WERE LOST WHEN THE BPI BRITISH PHONOGRAPHIC INDUSTRY BUSTED VIRGIN RECORDS IN 1973 - RICHARD BRANSON USED TO SELL A LOT OF BOOTLEGS IN THOSE DAYS - A FACT WHICH CAME BACK TO HAUNT HIM A FEW YEARS LATER WHEN A NEWSPAPER CUTTING OF THE BUST WAS USED ON THE COVER OF A SEX PISTOLS BOOTLEG WHO HAD JUST SIGNED TO VIRGIN RECORDS .
THIS IS AN EXTREMELY DIFFICULT BOOTLEG TO FIND AND ALL KNOWN COPIES WERE ORIGINALLY BOUGHT IN THE UK.
WIZARDO ONLY ENTER THIS STORY AT THE VERY END.
RELATIVELY NEW TO THE BUSINESS, SHARING THE SAME PRESSING PLANT AS TMOQ AND HUNGRY FOR NEW MATERIAL TO RELEASE, WIZARDO WERE QUITE HAPPY TO RECYCLE OLD AND SOMETIMES REJECTED TMOQ PRESSING PLATES FOR THEIR OWN RELEASES, AND THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED TO EMBRWO WHICH THEY RELEASED AS THE TWO SEPERATE ALBUMS MENTIONED AT THE START.
AS A FOOTNOTE, THE TITLE EMBRWO IS ALMOST CERTAINLY A MISTAKE AND SHOULD HAVE READ: EMBRYO AS IT DOES ON THE REAR INSERT - THE WORD EMBRWO MEANS NOTHING IN ENGLISH AND IS A MISTAKE BY EITHER THE BOOTLEGGER OR MY GUESS THE RUBBER STAMP MAKERS.
