Item Description
Please read the Terms and Conditions lower in the listing about payment, postage costs and insurance BEFORE placing a bid.
Thank you.
I am happy to answer any questions, but please read the listing carefully before sending a question or placing a bid.
I try to provide comprehensive details and information in every listing so the answers to most questions should be found below.
During nearly eight years of trading on ebay, I have received around 2,600 positive feedbacks from over 2,000 individual customers, almost all from the sale of vinyl records.
Until recently I had 100 positive feedback, but I have recently received a totally unjustified negative feedback.
Please see my page if you want the full story.
I take great pride in ensuring that my items are always described accurately and fairly.
All my items come with a full money-back guarantee - if it s not as described, you can return it for a full refund.
Bidders outside the UK please note: I send all items tracked and insured.
Depending on the value of your order, the cost is an extra 5.30 or 7.90 on top of the standard airmail rate.
I do not make a profit on this service - I only charge what Royal Mail charges me.

Superb example of this 1st pressing which is complete and original throughout. Many copies of Dark Side of the Moon which are sold on ebay as first pressings are simply a first pressing disk matched up with a cover, posters and stickers from later copies.
It is not surprising, because the stickers and posters from later solid blue prism copies are very similar to those issued with pressings throughout the mid seventies, and so it can be hard to tell the difference when later issues have been substituted for original stickers and posters that are missing.
The only way to guarantee that you have original posters and stickers is to make sure that they are the earliest copies from the very first-pressed copies.
These genuine first pressing stickers and posters are hard to come by, but they are very easy to identify because they are completely different from all later issues.
To identify original posters you simply need to examine the paper they are printed on.
If it is thick and fully matt even on the printed side then the posters are definitely originals.
If your posters have any sort of sheen or gloss they could be from a later issue, and if the paper is a pure white, rather than cream, then your posters are definitely from a later copy.Similarly, the original stickers are easy to identify.
On the rear, the die-cut lines in the backing paper run horizontally in a wavy-line pattern and the only word printed on them says PERMANENT .
If your stickers have diagonal lines and say Crack Back , Fasprint etc they could be from a later issue - even if they also say the word Permanent .
Crack Back stickers from much later copies will have the word Removable on them. The copy I m selling here is an early first pressing pressed from the 1st and 2nd mothers and has the correct earliest first-pressing posters and stickers.
The posters are fully matt on both sides and the stickers are die-cut with a horizontal wavy-line pattern and have only the word PERMANENT printed on them.
It has the following 1st press matrix numbers:Side 1: SHVL 804 A-2 Side 2: SHVL 804 B-2The gatefold sleeve is midnight blue and the inner sleeve is black, poly-lined and printed with the patent numbers and says Made in Great Britain .Finding a complete, genuine first pressing like this, is not easy.
Detailed description Vinyl: The vinyl has retained its original high sheen although, under bright light, hairlines, brush lines, scuffs and fine marks were visible, including a couple of more-prominent LOOKING marks on side two, but they have no audible impact and there is nothing significant anywhere.
I have played the entire record and it sounds excellent.
There is some soft background noise and crackle which can be heard in the quiet parts and the run-ins/outs, fades, segues, silent grooves and intros and the occasional random click.
Please note that this copy does NOT have the pressed skip in Money often found on first pressings - there are no jumps or skips anywhere on this record.
Like most Pink Floyd albums Dark side of the Moon has lots of quiet and sparsely arranged passages and because of this it is very hard to find an original copy which genuinely plays Near Mint all the way through and there are some passages which are always difficult on original vinyl copies of this album e.g.
the long-fade explosion noise at the end of On the Run , the intro to Us and Them , some of the segues etc .
This copy is much better than most and many of the loud parts play-grade Near Mint, but some of the quiet parts grade lower than this, in particular the difficult parts mentioned above.
Other than this, there are some tiny tics in the background here and there and there were also a few places where you get a soft click for a few revolutions, but there is nothing loud or intrusive and there were only two that I noticed that lasted for longer than two or three revolutions - ten clicks in the quiet piano intro to The Great Gig in the Sky and about nine louder clicks in the heartbeat fade-out ending at the very end of side two.
But these two passages are not representative of the overall sound quality of this copy.
Without them, both sides would be graded as EASILY Excellent, approaching Excellent plus Ex , but the start of The Great Gig in the sky and the heartbeat ending to side two down-grade this slightly.
But even with them, this is a well-above-average example and was a real pleasure to listen to.
I would play-grade the album overall around Excellent Ex .
Labels: Both labels look great with absolutely no signs of damage, writing, stickers etc, just spindle marking.
Sleeve: Because it is very hard to appreciate the colour of the cover in photographs, I have shown this cover on top of a standard black cover in the final picture.
This is the original midnight blue cover with a machine-sealed left edge which is not folded under.
It is nice and clean with no damage, writing, splits, tears or stickers etc and just typical signs of use.
There is wear at the corners, some minor wear to the front and a handful of minor dents/scratches near the top of the front cover.
There are small creases along the spine and light creases at the top-leading corner.
There is some ring-wear and shaping around the disk on the back cover, and the rear spine-corners, especially the top one, have some noticeable creasing.
Buit overall this is a very presentable example of a cover that is difficult to find in decent condition.
Edge wear: The top and bottom edges and spine have just light wear, mainly towards the corners.
There are normal signs of use at the opening and opposite edge.
Corner wear: There is moderate corner wear, more at the bottom corners than the top ones.
Inner sleeve: This is the original black, poly-lined inner sleeve.
It has no splits, tears or damage, just some creasing around the corners and normal signs of handling and use.
Posters: These are the original fully matt posters.
They have never been on display and so have no pin-holes, sellotape, blu-tac etc.
They have no tears, splits or damage, just minor signs of handling and age.
Stickers: These are the original stickers with wavy-line die-cut backing and just the word PERMANENT printed on them.
Both have one soft vertical crease from having been caught inside the fold of the cover, but they are both unused and have no tears or sharp creases and show just minor signs of handling and age.
Detracting features not covered above: None.
This is a superb, complete and original example - very hard to find like this.

Information about descriptions.
My items are always described accurately and fairly.
I always do my best to point out any blemishes which might detract from the item and all photographs are of the actual item you will get.
Play-graded vinyl: I play grade records where possible but I don t have time to play them all.
I always state in the listing if I have played a record prior to describing it.
Visually-graded vinyl: Unless specifically stated in the listing, vinyl is visually graded.
A visual grading will identify physical flaws such as scratches and can help determine whether a record has been cared-for properly.
I always do my best to give a fair assessment of any visible marks on the playing surface, but a visual grading will not identify noise or crackle caused by non-visible sources.
Most of the records I sell are between thirty and fifty years old and so it is likely that there may be some background noise even if they look perfect.
Please see Terms and Conditions below for my refunds policy for visually graded records.
I have some very simple terms and conditions.
Please read them and ensure that you understand them before bidding.
Thank you.

POSTAGE PACKING I care about the records I sell and believe that they need to be carefully and securely packaged to ensure that they survive their journey through the post.
Vinyl is removed from the sleeve for posting and the contents will be protected with rigid cardboard stiffeners.
All packages are labelled Do not bend and securely sealed with FRAGILE parcel tape.
I support the use of recycled materials and so I may send some items in packaging which has been previously used or which has been made from other cardboard packaging.
If you wish your item to be sent in entirely new packaging please let me know before paying for it.
Thanks.
P P charges I need to cover the cost of postage and packing materials, but I try not to charge more for packing and posting your item than it actually costs me.
I do not view P P costs as a means of making money.
However, to quote an exact cost for every LP is difficult because of the wide variance in weight e.g.
Abbey Road weighs around 230 grams whereas Led Zeppelin III weighs around 390 grams .
But the majority of single LPs, when packed, will weigh around 500-550 grams and I have based my P P rates on this.
Occasionally, you may end up paying a few pence more than it actually costs me and occasionally you may end up paying a few pence less than it actually costs me.
If there is a significant discrepancy in your favour I will refund the difference.
Double LPs will be charged as two LPs, triple LPs will be charged as three LPs.
Box sets etc will be charged according to weight.
