Item Description

PLEASE NOTE - THIS AUCTION WILL END LATE SATURDAY 17th JUNE - AS THIS WEEK I AM DOING SATURDAY NIGHT 17th AND SUNDAY NIGHT 18th AUCTIONS - WITH SOME AMAZING ITEMS ENDING ON BOTH DAYS SO PLEASE READ ON ABOUT THIS AMAZING ITEM BELOW - AND GOOD LUCK IF YOU DECIDE TO BID:- On offer here is a VERY rare LP especially in this condition by Pink Floyd called Dark Side Of The Moon and is an ORIGINAL 1973 UK 1st Pressing on the ULTRA RARE 1st Press Solid Blue Triangle Harvest label THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND THIS IS ONE OF PINK FLOYD S RAREST MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs EVER BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL, IS THAT IT IS ONE OF THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE - WITH SOME AMAZING DIFFERENCES THAT ALL LATER PRESSINGS SIMPLY DO NOT HAVE AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP THIS LP HAS SOME INCREDIBLE DIFFERENCES INCLUDING THE COVER, INNER, STICKERS, POSTERS, LABELS, MATRIXES INSERTS THAT ALL LATER ONES DONT HAVE - AND IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO EXAMINE THEM IN GREAT DETAIL THIS LP WAS ONLY EVER PRESSED LIKE THIS FOR AN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNT OF TIME ONLY - AND WAS CHANGED STRAIGHT AFTER RELEASE AS A RESULT IT IS ONE OF THE ULTIMATE PINK FLOYD RARITIES AND INCREDIBLY SOUGHT AFTER I WILL NOW EXPLAIN WHAT MAKES THIS LP SO AMAZINGLY RARE - AND ALSO SHOW THAT EVERY SINGLE PART OF THIS LP HAS BEEN TOGETHER WITH NO PARTS SWOPPED SINCE THE DAY IT WAS MADE BACK IN 1973 FIRSTLY THE MATRIXES ON THE RECORD, ARE THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESS MATRIXES - ENDING IN A2/B2 LATER ONES DONT SECONDLY THE LABELS ALSO HAVE THE CORRECT EARLIEST 1ST PRESS GRAMOPHONE COMPANY LABEL EDGE TEXT LATER PRESSINGS HAD THIS CHANGED THIS TO EMI RECORDS TEXT INSTEAD THIRDLY THE RECORD LABELS HAVE THE ULTRA RARE EARLIEST 1ST PRESS SOLID LIGHT BLUE TRIANGLE ON BOTH SIDES - WHICH WAS IMMEDIATELY CHANGED TO THE COMMON TRANSPARENT TRIANGLE WHICH APPEARS ON ALL LATER PRESSINGS AS THE TEXT WAS HARD TO READ AND IT DIDNT MATCH THE COVER FOURTHLY THE STICKERS HAVE FASSON FASPRINT ON THE REVERSE OF THE STICKERS LATER ONES DONT .
FIFTHLY, THE INNER IS OF THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESS TYPE - BEING BLACK, DIE-CUT , TEXTURED, AND HAVING SILVER PATENTS PRINT ON ONE SIDE LATER ONES DONT AND LASTLY THE COVER IS ALSO A 100 GENIUNE EARLIEST 1ST PRESS COVER TOO - BEING FOLD-OVER FACTORY SEALED AT ONE END LATER ONES ARENT - WHERE ONE OPENING ON THE COVER WAS FOLDED OVER GLUED SHUT AT THE FACTORY BACK IN 1973 SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS ONE OF THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS AMAZING LP THAT YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET HOWEVER TO BE AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE ON THIS LP - THERE ARE A FEW STRANGE DETAILS I MUST MENTION AND BEFORE I GET ANY EMAILS - I KNOW FOR A 100 FACT, THAT THIS LP HAS BEEN TOGETHER SINCE 1973 WITH NOTHING SWOPPED OR CHANGED.
SO HERE AT THE FEW STRANGE EXTRA DETAILS:- 1 Although the inner is 100 GENIUNE - with the CORRECT Silver Patent No 1,125,555 and MADE IN GT BRITAIN silver text - it is NOT poly-lined .
At first I thought it was missing.
But if you look inside there are NO glue marks - and this inner NEVER EVER had any poly-lining AT ALL from the factory.
Perhaps it was an error and was missed? 2 The Stickers CLEARLY match and have been inside the cover from NEW.
And they both have the CORRECT lighter front colours - which is expected on 1st Press stickers.
They also have MATCHING Green Fasson and Fasprint text printed on the reverse So they were clearly made to be together Yet mysteriously only ONE has the crackback lines text - and the other does not Strange 3 Although the cover still has the very VERY faintest hint of Blue, and is THICK and QUALITY - and definitely NOT a later cover, it is more black than blue.
Though I stress again - this IS a 1st Press cover and definitely NOT jet black like all later pressings And it also has definitely NOT been swopped.
And it also has the EARLIEST thicker type of factory fold over seal at one end - and NOT the thinner type of later covers Still I thought it was best to clear here, that this cover is far less blue than others I have seen.
SO ALTHOUGH THIS LP IS IN UNDOUBTEDLY ONE OF THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE WITH NOTHING SWOPPED OR CHANGED - I THOUGHT IT IMPORTANT TO MENTION THESE DETAILS ABOVE NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN ABSOLUTELY SUPERB CONDITION - WITH AN ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT COVER, A SUPERB LIGHTLY PLAYED RECORD STUNNING INSERTS FOR ONCE IT IS ALSO 100 COMPLETE WITH ITS 2 1ST PRESS SHINY POSTERS, 2 1ST PRESS FASSON/FASPRINT STICKERS AND BLACK SILVER TEXT INNER SLEEVE SEE DETAILS ABOVE JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1973 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE ULTRA RARE 1ST PRESS SOLID LIGHT BLUE TRIANGLE HARVEST LABEL, 1ST PRESS BLACK TEXTURED DIE-CUT SILVER TEXT INNER SLEEVE, 1ST PRESS A2/B2 MATRIX ENDINGS, 1ST PRESS GRAMOPHONE COMPANY EDGE TEXT, 1ST PRESS SHINY POSTERS FASPRINT STICKERS, AND 1ST PRESS GATEFOLD GARROD LOFTHOUSE COVER WITH FOLD-OVER FACTORY SEAL AT 1 END THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY This is the ORIGINAL Harvest UK 1st Pressing from 1973 and is in SUPERB condition The Cat.

MY POSTAGE UNDERCHARGE GUARANTEE TO ALL BUYERS I always undercharge on postage :- Due to UK Royal Mail s obscene price increases this year - I have had no choice but to increase postage charges a little.
Until this year - I had kept them exactly the same since I joined ebay back in 2002.
However this years price increases have been so obscene, that I have had no choice but to increase my postage charges for the first time ever.
However PLEASE NOTE - my absolute 100 guarantee to you as a buyer - is that I will ALWAYS undercharge postage on everything I send out.
Even after the increases, I am still charging you the buyer LESS than I am being charged myself.
On each package I send out - the price is clearly stated on the front of the package please check it when you recieve it .
I also do NOT charge for packaging costs - ONLY for postal costs And should you find that I have overcharged you postage in ANY way - I will refund DOUBLE the difference.
THAT IS MY 100 POSTAL GUARANTEE FOR EACH AND EVERY BUYER No buyer EVER deserves to be overcharged on postage - and on my listings, I ll make sure they are ALWAYS undercharged.
Any questions - please ask
