AN AUTHENTIC RARITY FOR CELLO , VIOLIN , LUDWIG HOELSCHER AND GERT HOELSCHER COLLECTORS DEEPLY RARE Gert Hoelscher was Ludwig Hoelscher s nephew, and studied with Gabriel Bouillon and Max Rostal. He was during years violin professor in W rzburg Germany and was member of the Hoelscher quartet. Very few recordings exist by this leading German school violinist.Ludwig Hoelscher live performed the Brahms double concerto many times in his life, but no recording exists on any support, apart from the current one we are auctioning.
