Jupiter records decided that all their recorded output should be in the French language. This album is from 1967, which contain eleven cuts, ten originals and one cover. Poorly promoted and distributed, it didn t sell well, although retrospectively it s recognised to have been one of the very best French Canadian albums of the era. Many of the tracks are driving garage-punk songs, the pick of these are the Kinks-Influenced Miserablement votre and Chemises a pois, Cravates a fleurs , which has good fuzz guitar acts. Tough garage-punk cover of the Rolling Stones Tell me. Influenced by the Stones, Yardbirds and Animals, other tracks of note are Vivre avec toi , which has a rather melodramatic introduction and with incisive guitar work spoken vocals. Recommended.
