the 1st Press Transatlantic label THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND

TRANSATLANTIC LABEL - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE JUST
TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE BACK IN 1971 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST
RELEASED - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS, AND WAS ALMOST
IMMEDIATELY DELETED AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY
HARD TO LOCATE TODAY BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL - IS
THE TRACK HENRY ONE OF THE BEST TRACKS ON THE LP PLAYS BRILLIANTLY
FOR ONCE AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP WHEN
THIS LP WAS MADE - IT WAS INSERTED IN THE PLASTIC INNER, WITH 99 OF
COPIES HAVING THE PLASTIC FOAM STRIP TOUCHING THE 1ST TRACK ON SIDE 1
HENRY . THIS FOAM STRIP REACTED WITH THE VINYL WHICH OBVIOUSLY AT
THE TIME TRANSATLANTIC WOULDNT HAVE KNOWN ABOUT LEAVING A MARK AT THE
VERY EDGE OF THE RECORD, AND CREATING BAD SURFACE NOISE AT THE BEGINNING OF
THE TRACK HENRY EVERY SINGLE COPY HIS THIS UNLESS YOU FIND THE 1
IN 1000 COPIES WHERE THE OWNER TOOK THE RECORD OUT OF THE PLASTIC INNER
ON DAY ONE - WHICH IS UNLIKELY IN THE EXTREME SO AS EVERY COPY
HAS THIS REACTION MARK ON THE VERY EDGE OF THE RECORD - THE REAL
RARITY IS FINDING A 1ST PRESSING WHERE THE SUPERB TRACK HENRY IS NOT
BADLY AFFECTED BECAUSE IF IT IS - THIS LP IS ALMOST NOT WORTH OWNING.
HOWEVER, ON THE OTHER SIDE TRACK 1 SIDE 2 IS THE TRACK JAPAN - AND
AS ALL REVIEWS STATE, THIS IS ONE OF THE POOREST TRACKS ON THE LP - AND

WHEREAS JAPAN DEFINITELY ISNT AND THANKFULLY, IN THIS CASE - THE 1 PREVIOUS OWNER MUST HAVE TURNED THE RECORD OVER EARLY ON IN ITS LIFE, AS HENRY IS BARELY AFFECTED AT ALL - WITH ONLY A SLIGHT TOUCH IN THE FIRST FEW REVOLUTIONS, AND THEN SOON FADES AWAY ALTOGETHER LEAVING COMPLETE SILENCE SO THIS LP THE WORST OF THE COMPLETELY

The Cat. No is TRA 237 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Transatlantic label see picture and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing there were NO Monos
The record labels are in SUPERB condition see pictures with NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL The vinyl is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, NO scufflines, only 3 or 4 TINY surface marks, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light There is also as stated above the usual foam reaction mark at the edges of the record And again I MUST STRESS that 99.9 of 1st Pressings have this reaction mark and it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to find this LP without this ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL JUST PRESSED LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual It plays with NO pops, barely ANY clicks AT ALL, NO jumps, NO sticks, the usual brief sounds from the foam reaction mark right at the VERY beginning of Side 2 in part of the 1st track Japan and barely affecting Henry as described above , and barely ANY crackle AT ALL The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either The record must grade Very Good if not better BRILLIANT RECORD Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to Brillant The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press in-built Plastic inner sleeve which is the plastic inner inside the cover - which is still PERFECTLY attached and UNSPLIT I would also VERY strongly advise against EVER using this plastic inner again as it is VERY fragile - and so I have supplied a plain white inner for the record a plastic sleeve to keep the cover record together The ORIGINAL 1st Press Gatefold Cover is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear with NO creases across the spine for once , only VERY slight corner wear NOT through the colour , NO splits, only a VERY few VERY light creases cover is VERY flat looking indeed , NO rips, NO tears, shiny laminate, NO annotations, and NO writing The opening edges are beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL Even the unlaminated inside is in BRILLIANT condition with NO yellowing, NO grubbyness, NO ringwear, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, a PERFECTLY attached plastic inner sleeve, and NO writing The cover must grade Very Good if not better BRILLIANT COVER THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY
