A great opportunity to buy a RARE FIRST PRESSING VINYL LP from the 1960 s by Andwellas Dream called Love And Poetry .
This is a U.K. pressing released in 1969 on the CBS label S 63673 stereo and has 13 tracks see photos for track listings .
The matrix numbers in the dead wax are:- SBPG 63673-A1 side one and SBPG 63673-B2 side two .
The vinyl is in a clean and shiny VERY GOOD condition. I always examine and grade records under a bright table lamp and there are many light surface marks evident. There is a light scratch covering parts of tracks 5 and 6 on side one and this causes a light click when listening to those two tracks.
There is also a soft crackle noticeable on the quiet passages and in between the tracks.
I have played the whole of both sides and it is a very listenable album with plenty of great guitar leads, flute, sax, jazzy organ and piano.
The record is flat and has no warps of any description.
The record is housed within its original plain white inner sleeve in a VERY GOOD condition considering its age.
The Ernest J. Day and Co fully-laminated picture cover is in a clean and shiny VERY GOOD condition.The edges and spine are very strong, and the writing on the spine is clearly readable see photo . There is some minimal wear at the corners and some light wear along the opening edge. There is some faint creasing in places and small areas of lifting of the laminate mainly close to the spine. The back cover has a CBS Stereo sticker applied next to the catalogue number in the top corner.
The album is very highly rated as a collectable example of late 60 s Psychedelic Rock and despite the shortcomings mentioned above, it should be of much interest to avid collectors.
