Item Description

The Rotters Sink The Whales / Disco Queen Rotten Records TN 1179 1979 One of the hardest to find California punk 45s, the second Rotters Let s just say that the sleeve on this particular copy is well-suited to the rotten aesthetic.
Why would a true punk want a pristine copy of this, anyways? Besides the general wear, creasing and tiny tears at the top, there is an actual chunk taken out.
I d like to think there was a good story behind this.
There are photos of the front, back, and inside gatefold provided, but if anyone would like additional detail, I d be happy to scan specific requests.
The vinyl has scuffing and on the Sink The Whales side there is a chip missing on the deadwax before the grooves start - so play is not affected.
Listen to both complete sides in the sound file below: Condition sleeve/vinyl : VG-/VG :: Listen :: Grading Scale: M, M-, EX, VG , VG, VG-, G M mint is reserved for unplayed, flawless stock copies.
M- mint minus is the highest grade for a record in beautiful shape.
EX excellent means there s a minor flaw on the sleeve small crease, price sticker or disc fingerprint, harmless scratch .
VG very good plus means a sleeve has minor shop wear is creased and/or shows a ring impression, and the disc shows cosmetic signs of handling.
VG very good means not for the anal-retentive.
The sleeve shows multiple flaws sticker tear, seam split, ring wear, rumpled top and the disc has surface noise no skips or thunderous pops and multiple small scratches.
VG- very good minus means the sleeve is well loved with numerous flaws while the vinyl is exhibits many flaws and is noisy.
G good means the sleeve contains major flaws such as large tears, heavy staining, etc., while the vinyl is beat but playable with no skips.
