I am selling a rare 2nd state butcher cover mono LP record by The Beatles titled "Yesterday and Today". It was released by Capitol Records in the USA, catalog # T 2553. There is a large sticker with the alternate "trunk cover" over the original "butcher cover" underneath. If you look closely you can see Ringo's vest in the white area to the right of the trunk, as well as a slim section of the original cover art along the left hand side where the new sticker did not line up perfectly. Cover is in excellent shape overall, close to near mint with the exception of previous owner's name written neatly in small print on the back along the left side. (This flaw can be seen in the 9th photo). Otherwise cover looks amazing with clean edges, and is still mostly sealed in original shrink wrap that was only opened along one edge! There are now a few pieces of clear tape over the plastic around the edges, but they do not extend to the cover itself. RIAA #6 on back bottom right hand corner. Vinyl looks excellent with a few light marks. Labels are near mint with the exception of previous owner's initials written in small print on the B-side (see last photo). Includes original inner sleeve.
