Labels :
Classic UK Original 1969 Apple labels Both sides are OUTSTANDING with NO real signs of age, NO graffiti, and NO writing OR tears whatsoever Just has a small amount of ultra light spindle marks which suggests that this has barely had much play at all FANTASTIC for a 47 year old record Both must grade overall at least as Excellent
Record : Visual -
Spectacular Original 1969 UK 1st Press Vinyl Nice bright, clean and shiny as if it was just pressed Fantastic jet black mirror like surfaces, it looks GREAT with NO really nasty marks, groovewear, or nasty deep scuffs whatsoever The only blemishes are just some light wispy sleeve traces, a few mild hairlines and age marks and a very very fine scratch across side A it s the only thing which stops me grading this much higher - cosmetic with little to no effect on audio , and just a small amount of cosmetic non-sounding and unfeelable scuffs only visible in direct angled light mostly caused from where it has sat or been removed from it s cover over the years Of course, none of these ULTRA light blemishes really interfere with play AT ALL thanks to the deeply pressed quality BRILLIANT for a record of this age and rarity Must grade overall at the least as Very Good minus graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not overgraded AT ALL Customer satisfaction is of 100 importance to me
Record : Audio -
Thankfully, it plays BRILLIANTLY with fantastic stereo separation and clarity It really sounds incredible with NO hisses, hops, distortion, skips OR sticks Only like pretty much ALL records has just a mere touch of the lightest crackle in few and far between places, a few light ticks here and there on rare occasions, and a hint of low level ultra light bluesman s fag atmospheric static here and there such as on some of the quieter sections like the run in grooves and between some tracks e.t.c, but it TRULY doesn t overshadow the music AT ALL I d even argue it gives it added soul And that s truly about it The vast, vast majority of the audio is ultra clear and sounds ABSOLUTELY AWESOME with that bass, depth, warmth and clarity you can only get from 1st Press UK vinyl An outstanding listen Absolutely ESSENTIAL ASTONISHING for a record of this age and rarity Must grade overall audibly at least as Excellent minus graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL Customer satisfaction is of 100 importance to me
Sleeve :
Original John Kosh designed also behind the design of the Let It Be box Shenval Press UK 1st press Box Set 100 complete with the outer lid with attached wedding certificate BRILLIANT condition with some usual ageing such as a little general surface wear and some minor age spots with some rubbing to the edges - nothing drastic and remains structurally sound with strong surrounding walls Must grade overall as Very Good minus , the original inner tray in FANTASTIC structurally strong shape with only a little light ageing such as only some near invisible general mild scuffing to the back and some minor age spots here and there from storage nothing drastic - Must grade overall at least as Very Good , the pvc bagism bag with wedding cake picture and wedding cake picture insert AWESOME condition with only a very small amount of incredibly minor marks and just some very minor handling creasing to the cake insert - Must grade overall at least as Very Good , the AWESOME Press book AWESOME - ALL pages are perfectly intact, only has a few light handling creases to the outer - Must grade at least as Very Good , the wedding and bed peace posters FANTASTIC unsplit condition and free from any writing or graffiti, only has some minor handling creasing to show of their 47 years NO pin holes, tack marks, writing, graffiti, splits OR tears whatsoever Both must grade at least as Very Good , and last but not least, the passport photo strip and bed peace postcard only a small amount of light age spots to the postcard and a very mild crease near the top of the strip - Must grade as Very Good and Very Good
Of course, it includes the original 1969 GL UK 1st Press Amsterdam laminated flipback gatefold sleeve complete with original unsplit inner IMPOSSIBLE to find this sleeve in anything approaching a good condition - most are spent, torn and worn due to age and the lifestyles of the buyers of this particular LP This one is NOT, and looks FANTASTIC, especially considering the nature of these fragile sleeves NO writing OR graffiti, NO bad marks AT ALL, and still ULTRA strong and solid after all these years Only has a few minor signs of ageing such as a tiny amount of ultra light creases and the merest ghost of a record imprint, a touch of creaming to the white front and two very minor little stress tears to the top and bottom of the spine ultra common with this sleeve - truly minimal and nothing drastic , a touch of denting to the four corners which basically ALL vintage LP s have, and POSSIBLY just to be sure one or two other minor signs of age here and there, though nothing that really stands out to note at all And that s truly about it I tend to bring it down by listing the most minor negatives I can possibly find, but this is an OUTSTANDING sleeve, and a TRUE rarity to find one as incredible as this - most have been virtually destroyed or are just about being held together, but not this one The magnificent unlaminated inside has barely aged at all It remains ultra strong, solid, unsplit and unspoilt, and even the spine remains ultra strong, solid, unsplit and 100 readable Must grade overall at the least as Very Good graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL Customer satisfaction is of 100 importance to me
Summary : A BRILLIANT example of this OUTRAGEOUSLY RARE classic Stereo UK 1st Press boxset LP COMPLETE WITH ALL IMPOSSIBLY RARE INSERTS Hard to find in ANY condition, but SERIOUSLY RARE TO FIND ONE AS TRULY AWESOME AS THIS YOU MAY NEVER GET THE CHANCE AGAIN, so don t miss out on this scarce opportunity to own a true piece of 60 s/70 s music history Bid now

I ve realized that most countries have their own unique grading system. I base mine strictly on the UK RRPG grading system occasionally with a or a - to indicate the higher and lower ends of the grade, though I only use these if i m having real trouble deciding , so please check their chart for further clarity if you are unsure of what my grades mean. As a general rule, a mint record will be 100 perfect, an excellent record will be in fantastic clean condition with the occasional mild mark and minor use from the years, and a very good record will have noticeable, yet light visual markings and obvious signs of age and use, but will still remain clean with relatively light wear and will play fantastically well with plenty of life remaining in it. I very rarely offer records below the very good region unless they are of an EXCEPTIONAL rarity and playing quality...I hope this helps
