Now, I can t stress enough how amazing this Mono mix truly is. Overseen by and mixed with Hendrix, you simply haven t heard this LP unless you ve heard it like this One Rainy Wish in it s Mono mix is a COMPLETELY different beast to any other you may of heard, and as for Castles Made Of Sand? FORGET any other version It fades in PHENOMENALLY, and the outro has an utterly OUTRAGEOUS shimmer NOT in any other mix out there That s just two examples of this magnificent mix - I truly believe that this album in it s mono form is the closest we can ever get to hearing the sound inside Hendrix s head
Just like any of the Hendrix experience albums, this is one of THE BEST LP s of all time containing some of THE GREATEST music EVER recorded I love this album. It s got a unique sort of taste, feel, and atmosphere. It s certainly the most psychedelic thing The Experience ever did, right from the phenomenal music to the INCREDIBLE cover artwork This LP is a masterpiece, and absolutely LOADED with classics - you ve only got to look at the tracklist It feels really relaxed and easy going, as if Hendrix was satisfied with proving himself to the world with Are You Experienced ,and felt it was time to do what he really wanted to do. There s not too much out and out blues on here, it s more experimental such as the Jazzy Up From The Skies ,the truly psychedelic One Rainy Wish ,the Dylan-esque classic Castles Made Of Sand ,the hilarious Wait Until Tomorrow ,the delicate Little Wing and Bold As Love ,and his trademark freak out track On Are You Experienced, it was Third Stone From The Sun . On Electric Ladyland, it was 1983 A Merman I Shall Turn To Be . On this, it s the PHENOMENAL If Six Was Nine
I can t believe how amazing this LP is, every track is truly outstanding. Probably my favourite Hendrix LP though I couldn t live without any of them . Even Noel Redding s She s So Fine is suprisingly excellent psych-pop It easily sits in the top 10 greatest albums of all time, and there it shall remain until the world blows up
Until that moment? Well, we should all listen to his records and be thankful that Jimi Hendrix was born

Labels :
Classic UK TEXTURED black Track 1st Press labels Both sides are OUTSTANDING with NO real signs of age, NO graffiti, and NO writing OR tears whatsoever Just has a small amount of ultra light spindle marks which suggests that this has barely had much play at all FANTASTIC for a 49 year old record Both must grade overall at least as Excellent
Record : Visual -
Spectacular Original 1967 UK 1st Press Vinyl Nice bright, clean and shiny as if it was just pressed Fantastic jet black mirror like surfaces, it looks GREAT with NO really nasty scratches, groovewear, or nasty deep scuffs whatsoever The only blemishes are just some light wispy sleeve traces, a few mild hairlines and age marks, and just a small amount of cosmetic non-sounding and unfeelable scuffs only visible in direct angled light mostly caused from where it has sat or been removed from it s cover over the years Of course, none of these ULTRA light blemishes really interfere with play AT ALL thanks to the deeply pressed quality BRILLIANT for a record of this age and rarity Must grade overall at least as Very Good graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not overgraded AT ALL Customer satisfaction is of 100 importance to me
Record : Audio -
Thankfully, it plays BRILLIANTLY with fantastic mono blast and clarity It really sounds incredible with NO hisses, hops, distortion, sticks OR skips Only like pretty much ALL records has just a mere touch of the lightest crackle here and there, only a few of the lightest ticks here and there on rare occasions, and a hint of low level ultra light bluesman s fag atmospheric static in few and far between places such as on some of the quieter sections like the run in grooves and between some tracks e.t.c, but it TRULY doesn t overshadow the music AT ALL I d even argue it gives it added soul And that s truly about it The vast, vast majority of the music is ultra clear and sounds ABSOLUTELY AWESOME with that bass, depth, warmth and clarity you can only get from 1st Press UK vinyl An outstanding listen Absolutely ESSENTIAL ASTONISHING for a record of this age and rarity Must grade overall audibly at the very least as Exceelent minus graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL Customer satisfaction is of 100 importance to me
Sleeve :
Original UK 1967 1st Press laminated flipback gatefold E.J Day sleeve complete with original inner and PHENOMENALLY RARE ORIGINAL LYRIC INSERT POSTER FANTASTIC, ultra clean and as vibrant as ever with NO pin holes, NO tears, and NO writing OR graffiti whatsoever - just has an incredibly mild ultra light fold crease at the top of the centre and only some ultra minor general light handling signs to show of it s near five decades INCREDIBLE IMPOSSIBLE to find this sleeve in anything approaching a good condition - most are spent, torn and worn due to age and the lifestyles of the buyers of this particular LP This one is NOT, and looks FANTASTIC, especially considering the nature of these fragile sleeves NO tears, NO writing OR graffiti, NO dulling, NO bad marks AT ALL, NO seam splits, and still ULTRA strong and solid after all these years Only has a small amount of ultra mild signs of ageing such as a small amount of ultra light edge creases and the merest ghost of a record imprint, some minor touches of the slightest general ultra light surface glazing here and there from where it has sat between sleeves over the years barely anything at all and only some minor remains of a sticker to the bottom right corner of the otherwise unbelievably unaged unlaminated inside the only thing which stops me grading this even higher - absolutely NO coffee cup stains, grubbiness, ink rubbing, writing OR graffiti whatsoever , a slight touch of denting to the four corners which basically ALL vintage LP s have, and POSSIBLY just to be sure one or two other minor signs of age here and there, though nothing that really stands out to note at all And that s truly about it I tend to bring it down by listing the most minor negatives I can possibly find, but this remains an AWESOME sleeve, and a TRUE rarity to find one as incredible as this - most have been virtually destroyed or are just about being held together, but not this one The iconic psychedelic artwork is as vibrant as the day it was pressed and looks simply AMAZING It remains ultra strong, solid, unsplit and unspoilt, and even the spine remains ultra strong, solid, 100 unworn and unsplit Must grade overall at the very least as Excellent minus graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL Customer satisfaction is of 100 importance to me
Summary : An OUTSTANDING 100 complete earliest ever TEXTURED example of this IMPOSSIBLY RARE pioneering psych classic UK 1st Press LP Hard to find in ANY condition, but simply IMPOSSIBLY RARE TO FIND ONE 100 COMPLETE AND AS TRULY MAGNIFICENT AS THIS YOU MAY NEVER GET THE CHANCE AGAIN, so don t miss out on this scarce opportunity to own a true piece of 60 s/70 s music history Bid now

I ve realized that most countries have their own unique grading system. I base mine strictly on the UK RRPG grading system occasionally with a or a - to indicate the higher and lower ends of the grade, though I only use these if i m having real trouble deciding , so please check their chart for further clarity if you are unsure of what my grades mean. As a general rule, a mint record will be 100 perfect, an excellent record will be in fantastic clean condition with the occasional mild mark and minor use from the years, and a very good record will have noticeable, yet light visual markings and obvious signs of age and use, but will still remain clean with relatively light wear and will play fantastically well with plenty of life remaining in it. I very rarely offer records below the very good region unless they are of an EXCEPTIONAL rarity and playing quality...I hope this helps
