On offer here is a VERY rare LP especially in this condition by The Beatles called Revolver and is an ORIGINAL 1966 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Yellow Black Parlophone label THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND THIS IS ONE OF THE BEATLES RAREST LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE IT IS ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs ON THE PARLOPHONE LABEL - AND IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL - IS THAT IT IS THE ULTRA RARE 606-1 MONO 1ST PRESSING THAT PLAYS THE WRONG MIX OF TOMORROW NEVER KNOWS AND IS ONE OF THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP THIS IS THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP MADE WAY BEFORE THE RELEASE DATE WITH THE EXTREMELY RARE XEX-606-1 SIDE 2 MONO MATRIX, WHICH PLAYS THE WRONG MIX OF TOMORROW NEVER KNOWS IMMEDIATELY CHANGED ON ALL LATER PRESSINGS ONLY AN ABSOLUTELY TINY HANDFUL OF THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSINGS ONLY - WERE EVER PRESSED LIKE THIS, BEFORE THE MISTAKE WAS NOTICED VERY QUICKLY INDEED - AND WAS CHANGED IMMEDIATELY AND THIS IS EXACTLY WHY THIS LP IS SO SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND TODAY - BECAUSE BARELY ANY WERE EVER MADE AND FOR ME THIS ULTRA RARE 606-1 MIX KNOWN AS REMIX 11 SOUNDS FAR FAR BETTER THAN THE STANDARD VERSION FOR THOSE THAT DONT ALREADY KNOW THE MIX DIFFERENCES - THE MOST OBVIOUS DIFFERENCES ARE THAT THE SEAGULL TYPE EFFECTS ARE FAR MORE PROMINENT ON THIS ULTRA RARE DIFFERENT MIX, AND THE PIANO ENDING IS ALSO LONGER, AS WELL AS OTHER MORE SUBTLE DIFFERENCES THIS ULTRA RARE MIX REALLY DOES SOUND INCREDIBLE NOT ONLY THAT, BUT WHAT ALSO SHOWS THIS LP TO BE ONE OF THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE - IS THAT IT HAS THE EARLIEST POSSIBLE DR ROBERT LABEL CREDIT PRINTED ON THE SIDE 2 LABEL - WHEREAS ALL LATER PRESSINGS HAVE THE VERY COMMON DOCTOR ROBERT CREDIT INSTEAD SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS THE EARLIEST RAREST MONO 1ST PRESSING OF THIS AMAZING LP THAT YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET
THIS LP IS MADE EVEN RARER STILL - AS IT IS AN ULTRA RARE FACTORY SAMPLE 1ST PRESSING AND AGAIN, THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP FACTORY SAMPLE PRESSINGS WERE ONLY EVER PRESSED IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS NO MORE THAN A HUNDRED COPIES AT THE VERY MOST , AND WERE ONLY EVER USED FOR IN-HOUSE USE BY EMI / PARLOPHONE THEMSELVES FOR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES , OR VERY OCCASSIONALLY ONE WAS GIVEN OUT TO IMPORTANT VISITORS TO THE FACTORY - SUCH AS PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS FOR EXAMPLE FACTORY SAMPLES WERE NEARLY ALWAYS THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE AS IN THIS CASE - AND ARE TRULY EXCEPTIONALLY HARD TO FIND TODAY, AS BARELY ANY EXIST BARELY ANY FACTORY SAMPLE 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP WERE EVER MADE - MAKING THIS LP OF THE UTMOST RARITY ESPECIALLY AS THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE
HOWEVER, THERE ARE A FEW DETAILS TO NOTE ON THIS LP - THOUGH ITS RARITY IS NOT IN QUESTION AND NEITHER IN QUESTION IS THE FACTORY SAMPLE STICKER EITHER IT IS CLEARLY 100 GENIUNE, NOT A RE-PRINT, HAS CORRECT PLACEMENT ON THE LABEL, IS 100 FLAT TO THE TOUCH - AND HAS CLEARLY ON THIS LP SINCE IT WAS MADE BACK AT THE FACTORY IN 1966 THE POINT THAT MUST BE MENTIONED HOWEVER, IS THAT THIS LP HAS CLEARLY BEEN THROUGH A PREVIOUS DEALERS HANDS MANY YEARS BEFORE. I SAY THAT BECAUSE, UNDER EXTREME LIGHT THE RECORD LOOKS LIKE IT HAS BEEN CLEANED IN THE PAST THOUGH IT PLAYS THROUGH FINE , AND THE COVER HAS LAMINATE ON THE FRONT THAT SHINES LIKE AN ABSOLUTE MIRROR THOUGH THIS NOT REFLECTED BY THE SAME SHINE ON THE FLIPBACKS SO ALTHOUGH I COULD BE WRONG, I WILL MAKE A CAUTIOUS ESTIMATION THAT THIS LP WAS ONCE OWNED AND SOLD BY ANOTHER DEALER IN THE 1980s OR 1990s. THAT SAID, THIS LP IS STILL VERY VERY PRESENTABLE INDEED - AS MY PICTURES VERY CLEARLY SHOW JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1966 UK EARLIEST MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESS YELLOW BLACK PARLOPHONE LABEL, EARLIEST 1ST PRESS DR ROBERT CREDIT ON THE SIDE 2 LABEL LATER ONES HAVE DOCTOR ROBERT INSTEAD , EARLIEST 1ST PRESS GRAMOPHONE COMPANY EDGE TEXT, EARLIEST 1ST PRESS SOLD IN THE UK TEXT, EARLIEST 1ST PRESS 606-1 MONO MATRIXES INDICATING THE DIFFERENT MIX , EARLIEST 1ST PRESS PATENTS APPLIED FOR INNER SLEEVE, AND EARLIEST 1ST PRESS GARROD LOFTHOUSE FLIPBACK LAMINATED PATENTS PENDING MONO COVER THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY This is the ORIGINAL UK MONO 1st Pressing from 1966 and is in GREAT condition overall The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The matrix numbers are XEX 605-2 YEX 606-1 the 1st Press matrix numbers with the WRONG MIX . The Cat. No is PMC 7009 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Yellow Black Parlophone label see picture and is a 1966 MONO 1st pressing
The record labels are in SUPERB condition see pictures with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few VERY light spindle marks The vinyl is in GREAT condition overall - and although it isnt visually perfect, it still plays through fine, and is still VERY bright shiny indeed Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and at first glance under normal room conditions it looks at least Very Good However, when examined under VERY bright light - there are a few lines NONE feelable with a finger tip , 3 or 4 TINY surface marks, NO scufflines, and only some very VERY light general paper scuffing only visible under light Which leads me to believe this record has had an attempted cleaning in the long distant past. THE RECORD IS STILL VERY SHINY LOOKING INDEED It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual It plays with NO skips, a few clicks/pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and only some VERY slight background crackle in places The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either The record must grade Good PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed if not better - and is still a very VERY presentable record indeed Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to Brillant The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Patents Applied For inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition The ORIGINAL 1st Press Garrod Lofthouse Flipback Laminated MONO Cover is in GREAT condition It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear NOT through the colour , only 1 VERY small repaired nick on the opening edge and a corresponding one on the back edge , NO splits, only a VERY few light creases cover is VERY flat looking indeed , STUNNING shiny mirror-like laminate, NO annotations, and NO writing The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in GREAT condition with NO yellowing, NO grubbyness, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, NO ringwear, and NO writing The cover must grade Very Good if not better THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE ESPECIALLY WITH THE ULTRA RARE WITHDRAWN 606-1 MIX - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY
